As I was looking through the benefits of being in a spartan company, I found myself with a concern. With each spartan company, there is a list of commendations to complete. Upon completion, each current member is rewarded XP. Everyone is given equal xp, no matter how much or little you contribute. If you are not part of a spartan company, you cannot receive such rewards, but also, if a spartan company has no more commendations to complete, you do not get rewarded either. This is the concerning part. In a hypothetical situation where I join a spartan company with every commendation complete, and I do not get rewarded for past commendations if I was not in that company to begin with, what is the purpose of being in that company? I have not joined a spartan company, and there’s no way I can create a spartan company with enough players to complete these commendations efficiently. I also cannot get previous commendations that are earned in a spartan company because I was not already part of that spartan company. Why are we not rewarded for joining a spartan company? Why do we not receive previously earned commendations if we can only earn them once? What is the point of this? It might be better if spartan companies could earn commendations past 5. Example, earning the level 5 reward over and over as many times as the company would like after they have already completed level 5(maybe there already is a system like this, I’m just unaware of its existence). That would give more incentive to stay in the company, rather than just leaving after you’ve gotten as many commendations as possible.
Any other thoughts on this matter? That would be appreciated.

As for the Achilles armor, they stated you have to be a part of the group as they reach the commendations. Seems fair enough to me. Companies are more for community than being rewarded a bit of xp - in my opinion.
Just join a spartan company and the rewards will come. The exp you get isn’t a huge deal since it is a very small amount so all you have to look forward to is the Achilles armour which you can eventually unlock just by playing while in a spartan company. It’ll take a while but it’s possible.

I would argue that it is completely unfair to those that join in the later years of the games life. I’m sure there are plenty of people that join a company just to contribute to get xp or Achilles. I just don’t think those people should be punished for either not getting the game until later on, or joining a spartan company later on.

Because “advanced” companies are harder to get into. Companies that have advanced more have stricter terms, and arbitrary requirements.

If you go look at the many spartan companies, you’ll find that many are either full, and those that are not full have such a high demand that there are strict requirements to join. I don’t think a spartan company that is new and or player dificient will have as strict requirements as say one that is overflowing with requests.
I don’t have a problem with it being just XP. If it was REQ packs (silver and above), then it would be bad since those are actually purchasable for real money.

This is just nonsense. There are plenty of companies with lots of spots available. A little effort is involved. And if you really want something, clicking a few pages in the Spartan Companies section shouldn’t be that big of a deal.

yeah no issues I agree. There are alot to choose from. Just make the best of little extra free offer. It’s no different than claiming reqs off a bottle cap… “but I dont like mountain dew”… Can’t fit everybody’s needs in the stream of time.

This day in history I find myself agreeing with Snickerdoodle, what has become of me?! I totally agree though, Achilles should remain exclusive as a sort of prestigious armor set. A symbol of the players who’ve been here since the beginning and put in the effort. A year down the road if any newcomers want the armor they’ll have to either start their own company or join an already existing one that hasn’t advanced far enough along to get it.

You get the same amount as a normal commendation so 100 exp at level one and likely 1000 exp at level 5(I say likely because I haven’t seen anyone at level 5 yet but that’s what it looks like it’ll be). You earn much more than that playing a single match of some gametypes.
IF you join a company that has all rank 5 comendations done you get the rewards for all of them but if you leave and join another or remake a company you no longer can recieve those rewards. they are one time obtainable rewards.
On that note, you have to be present when the team gets the achillies armor/helmet. you dont get it if the company already recieved it.

I joined a company so I can have a group of friends that I can play together with. I think that in itself is reward enough.
Besides, those company commendation reward packs are total garbage anyways. 500 xp and 4 pieces of common-uncommon junk
