Feeling pretty frustrated and disappointed that for the first time in any Halo game, vehicles are impossible to flip. Piloting vehicles has historically left room for a ton of skill expression, but now that’s completely gone.
In Halo 5, I can use directional influence to land a warthog in almost any circumstance. In Infinite, the vehicles are glued to the road when driving, and when airborne, there’s some kind of wheel-to-ground self-correcting mechanism.
It almost doesn’t feel like there’s any real physics simulation. This is deal-breaker-tier as someone who has spent a ton of time driving a warthog.
Yeah, sorry to see you go if this is the deal breaker. But I get it, as someone who got pretty good at driving to the point I’ve more or less learned the best ways to land to avoid flipping at least 80% of the time, it can be off putting to have your normal instincts made unnecessary. But really it’s not a deal breaker for me.
Sorry to hear this. Seems like a stupid choice cue the master chief in a wheel chair sign. Actually with all the unnecessary changes I’m glad I haven’t preordered.

Not impossible. But certainly self correcting to the point of feeling out of control. I’d rather lose control to a physical simulation that resembles a natural world than weird wheel to ground magnetism.
And I’m just unsure what the problem was in previous titles that 343 was trying to solve.
I’m willing to believe there has always been some amount of self leveling that went unnoticed beneath the physics, and infinite is just bugged. I hope that’s the case.

Same mechanics are in the campaign, no doubt.
Also, not pre-ordering, or buying overall, is not supporting the franchise economically, even if it is free.

Well sorry I won’t see you on the battlefield. Could been a great

I’m explaining the pre-ordering part, not claiming I won’t play.
