Concept art trailer

I’ve been watching this forum for ages and seen tons of trailer analysis’s and other things for information on halo 4, but I’ve noticed everyone has forgot about the concept art trailer so I thought I would point out some of my own observations. Remember, this was a concept art trailer so nothing is confirmed and can easily be changed.

my first observation is this image, what is the relation to halo 4? It could possibly be a planet within requiem’s atmosphere, but I think it looks very similar to reach

My second observation is in this image

The most interesting part of this image are the sentinels shown in the top right, could this possibly mean we will have sentinels as well as prometheans? Also shown in this image are the large structures shown, I believe they could be some form of gravity pillar to help sustain the gravity of requiem due to it’s odd shape.

My third image is this one http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-VUyP97Lv7Fw/TwrvAUy64JI/AAAAAAAAD4w/Bs5Pu4g59sY/s1600/halo-4-concept-2.jpg

It seems like some form of UNSC ships escaping from requiem, possibly escape since they don’t seem to look like ships for military use. some form of small object seems to be interacting with one of the ships, it looks like a sentinel to me, it could be either repairing or attacking the ship.

In this image I noticed something on the right, it looks to me like a halo ring, could halo’s being held on requiem? or being produced?

I hope this brought up some good missed points to people, I shall hopefully continue to contribute to this later.

BTW, don’t flame me, i’m just some noob here.

wow… no replys well OP you did good that planet does look like reach could we be returning…to…Reach??? JK but still nice job OP…

Those pillar-like structures don’t float, they actually hang down from Requiem’s outer metal shell to the planet within. Nobody knows what they’re used for, though. What do you mean by the planet’s ‘ODD SHAPE’? There is an actual planet within the metal shell, and that planet, because it has mass, produces a gravitational pull.

When I said the planet’s “odd shape” I mean that the planet is within a metal shell, I’m no physicist but a planet inside a giant metal shell must do some odd things to the gravity, but I understand why you said that, I probably didn’t explain it too well. also, I’ve heard many different things about reqieum, some say it’s like the dyson sphere from halo wars, some have said what you said, so I was just thinking from both points.

The dyson sphere would generate a sort of artificial gravity from the centrifugal force of the planet’s spin.

In the ‘planet-ception’ idea, the shell of the planet would be heavy, but it would be light enough and far enough away from the planet inside to not disrupt its gravity at all. The gravitational pull of the planet inside, coupled with the mass of the Planet’s shell, would also make the outside of the shell walkable. IMO, the pillar-like structures would be meant to tether the planet inside to the shell (possibly by way of gravity manipulation) so that they spin in the same direction, at the same speed, to avoid scraping one of the pillars against the top of a mountain or something of the like.

Touché sir, I’ve also recently noticed that they are shown in “haven”, maybe something for sustaining the planet’s artificial sun?

they might not be sentinels could be some other new forerunner unit 343 are introducing, but i hope sentinels return, and for the halo ring image it very well could be as there is a halo ring in the halo 4 menu shown at E3

so it seems the halo array will be involved some way.
