I’m pretty sure they said in one of the videos that you can unlock attachments for your gun because that was a supresser=reduced sound, recoil, and damage. 5-6 shots to kill.

I was thinking about that too, I don’t imagine that that’s what the actual BR sound’s like. Maybe a silencer, or just some sort of place holder sound, so we don’t hear the final product.

no. frankie said on neoGAF that the br audio was muted so that conan’s voice would be clear.

I was under the impression it was an early sound effect that’s currently used in the games overall current state to indicate that the weapon is firing.
