Composition chaos challenge

I just wanted to ask for some advice on what weapons to use against the covenant for this challenge, Precision weapons are a must for easily head-shottable enemies like grunts and jackals, but.
Elites… I swear the only way to actually kill them on such a hard difficulty with 4 nasty skulls on is either run rings around them until you can assassinate them or unload all your ammo into them - to kill one ¬¬

Please someone give me some advice on what weapons to use against elites, pretty much nothing takes them down without wasting all the weapons ammo.

This may seem like I’m trying to take the easy way out of a challenge XD but at the same time I just want to know what is good and bad to use against enemies while tilt is on.

Cheers.

Tilt means that against shielded enemies, only Covenant and Forerunner weapons can damage the shields.

Unshielded enemies can be headshotted with any headshot-capable weapon, though. Don’t try to fire plasma body shots on unshielded enemies or you’ll end up with immortal Grunts, though.

One thing that helps with assassinating like you’re doing is to add Catch. Seems to make them get so caught up in grenade animations that if you can get close enough and do it quickly, you can assassinate one who’s throwing grenades. (They begin throwing grenades, usually 3 times in a row, when you get within a certain range.) Sprint and Thruster Pack help a lot here.

Now, for fighting the Elites…

This is the crazy part. A Commander will take two overcharges and a headshot to go down. A Warrior? Three overcharges, continuous Storm Rifle until an overheat, and a headshot. (Keep a precision weapon next to you, in other words.)

There may be more efficient ways to do this, but I don’t know of any.

Yeah, I beat Composer on Legendary 0 skulls and that was tough, so I didn’t even bother with this challenge. If next week has Midnight with Catch and anything but Mythic or Iron I will attempt it probably. As for tips, the Plasma Pistol, Beam Rifle and DMR are your friends.
