I absolutely love the 1v1 option. It’s a breath of fresh air in the game and I am really enjoying it. I don’t think there’s ever been a 1v1 option in MM, so this is great. Thanks 343 for adding it
Even though I’ve lost every 1v1 so far, I’m in agreement with you. The matchmaking composer in general is great, and it definitely makes me want to play the MCC more.
there has been a 1v1 playlist before but it was taken out pretty quickly. Im glad to see it as well
I just like the freedom and all the options you are able to adjust with finding games. I don’t feel forced into any matches I don’t want to play anymore.
I’m terrible at 1v1’s so I doubt I’ll be playing it.

Hahah definitely the same for me, I’m absolutely terribad at 1v1 but it is nice to see them expanding the functionality!

I like it, however I would like to have a more balanced system.
It’s tons of fun, I’ve played a few great matches so far.

Same here. It’s a great mode for improving BR skills. I am super rusty so it’s been helpful getting the aim back.
I must say that some maps with power weapons kinda make the 1v1 frustrating if the enemy just hogs the snipe. I would prefer BRs only with no pickup.
There used to be a 1v1 playlist back in the day it was called Head to Head. We also had one in Insider not too long ago.

I remember head to head came out in halo 2 before double team came out and since my internet was basically the dial up of DSL (512k down/128k up if I remember) I had no ability to play 4v4 without lagging like crazy. When double team came out it was pretty much the greatest thing ever because my internet could manage it. I was so sick of 1v1 at that point. This was before the big patch that brought us melee lunging and 2 hit melee kills. I think originally it took something like 6 melees to kill someone? Oh the good old days.
Its a good idea but I think they should make a ranked 1v1 to keep the tryhards out of casual.
