The Composers are 1 of the most impressive pieces of Forerunner technology. They are able to transfer an individual from being an organism into digital information. This would unlock the secret to immortality. But, what if this isn’t the case? There’s another idea that the digital individual we see & interact with isn’t the original composed person, but rather a perfect AI copy of the composed individual, with the original person dying after being composed. This would bring up some interesting discussions. What side of the discussion do you fall into?
Good question indeed but we haven’t enough info to say what it is. If it’s a perfect AI copy, I think it’s like if the original personn die and a new personn is created
@S_tiger_117 Though if it’s a perfect AI copy and the original person dies, than that would mean Epitaph would be following an AI copy of the Didact, with all his memories and personality, but still a copy. Same with Chakas/Spark. Would be a pretty interesting existential question though.
