…me and my buddy did not get the emblem at all.
How do you actually get it?

you get an emblem for doing that? maybe it has to be done on solo or something

I took a picture of the details in the strategy guide - see it here.

As you can see, the details to unlock simply say “Waypoint”… perhaps you have to launch Waypoint and poke around for a bit first? I’m not sure, but others have it unlocked.

Also, make sure each LASO mission you completed was while connected to Live. It probably has to be online and recorded in your service record. It CAN be done in coop.

I can confirm that we both did it live and those missions are counted as complete

I think nobody has got the LASO emblem legitimately yet.
