Hi so basically i finished the campaign today on 12/2/12 And it says on halo waypoint stats that its done on co-op. But even if i did it co-op i should still get the mark 6 armor but it hasn’t appeared it isn’t there. I was wondering if you or 343 industries could help me?

You only get it for Solo Legendary.
You have to online and run through Legendary SOLO to get the armor.
I’ve completed it on SOLO LEGENDARY but didn’t get the armour. My son also completed it on SOLO LEGENDARY same day and got it.WHY
It cant be solo only. I helped my friend do it co-op and he got it.
I think it is for completing the ‘Legend’ commendation

You have to do it in one playthrough. Meaning that you can’t restart a mission, go back and play the first mission after playing the 4th, change the settings for one of the missions (such as skulls, when they were off for all previous missions), stuff like that.
It doesn’t have to be SOLO, I did the whole thing Co-op.
Did you watch the first/last videos on legendary?

Yes check your commendations first. The same thing happened to me for some reason it didnt register I completed Dawn so I am on the process of redoing the mission.
I made a thread about this the other day. The commendation LEGEND under Player - Campaign has to be done, and in order for it to be done, one must be connected to LIVE. My live got disconnected when I was out of the room and I was unawares, so I had to redo Shutdown and The Composer again. A LOT easier the 2nd time around.
And people in my thread claimed that you COULD complete it on Co-Op and get it… :-/
