How many Weapon Skins have you unlocked?

This is a checklist of all 34 Weapon Skins found within the game and how to unlock them.

It is written in the order they appear in the in-game menu when selecting your Weapons.

I’ve decided to post this since I’ve seen many topics on here asking about how to get specific weapon skins. I’ve also included official images for them all from previous Halo Bulletins.

Key:
Orange = Unlocked via the 8 Specialisations (x5 Primary, x3 Secondary)
Green = Unlocked via Classified Waypoint Codes (x1 Primary) - Codes
Red = Requires specific purchases/Pre-orders (x18 Primary, x5 Secondary)
White = Currently not unlockable (x2 Primary)

I really hope they can somehow add new ones. I’d love a black Battle Rifle.

They should take some inspiration from gears of war 3s weapon skins because I’d love to have an onyx version of the AR

I never bought the complete collection of Gears 3 Weapon Skins, as I thought 2400 ms points (I think) was a bit steep and I’m only an occasional player of the game.

I probably would have bought something similar if Halo 4 had offered it though, as I’ve alsways spent hundreds of hours playing Halo games so would have loved to have had lots of different weapon skins to use.

Yeah I was hoping for some sort of cool Sangheili war paint design on the Storm Rifle, similar to the Rank Up Emblem. But no skin at all :(.

It may also be noted that the weapon skins can be accessed via spawning with ‘Random Weapon’ as Primary and/or Secondary in forge/custom games, so you do not have to have the pre-order or limited edition console.

However, once you die you will lose it (obviously).

I agree the price was a bit stupid but at least they let you buy most of them separately and not to mention most of them were animated which was awesome

I’ve updated the opening post in light of today’s information regarding 5 new upcoming weapon skins for primary weapons in the game, including for the first time, a skin for the Storm Rifle!

OH GOD NO.

Gears of War 3 had the worst weapon skins of any game ever. They were WAY too outlandish and just completely killed the artistic mood of the game.

What about the new unknown skins? DMR CONCRETE and Battle Rifle BLAST. I know there is nothing known about them so far, but they do exist - people have gotten them through loadout and trait tricks. One guy even posted a picture of both in his loadout selections, as if he legitimately unlocked them for free usage (I also noticed his account was SR1, which kind of hints towards a modded account for these 2 skins). I think they should be listed, since they do exist in the new TU coding.
