First of all I will start with the Master Chief Collection.
Spawns are as I remember them, as in they are awful in CE and 2, and a little better as you progress in the series. Doesn’t make me love the games any less.
Takes a little while to connect to a game but I assume it has a lot to do with the fact that it requires, what I assume to be, a complex MM system to even jump across the game like that to begin with. As you play CE-4 I mean you just know the difference. I also don’t know if the previous programming for the MM systems in 2-4 made it any more difficult, but maybe.
That aside, still 100% for the game. I just really hope, all the bugs are worked out soon. Pretty much 99% of my friends are returning MCC and that leaves me by myself, and that’s the game that brought them to the Xbox 360 to begin with.
But it is still Halo, and that is where I belong.
Next on to Halo 5.
I got to play a little of the beta, and I am utterly surprised and happy with it. Many people complained about the changes, but honestly that happens with every installation of the series. 2 is not CE and so on…
Everyone has to understand that you cant just put out the same game every year and expect to keep people interested. Even the most repetitive series I know, CoD, has been changing things up.
Anyway lets get a little more specific:
Thrusts/Boosts- I like the concept moves you around more quickly and I think it can make the game more difficult, just wish it could be done more frequently.
Melee out of Sprint- Love it!
“Ground Pound”- Love it!
Weapons- Now this is a big deal for me, because I don’t think that there has been a balanced game, weapon wise, for a long time, but I feel like the weapons are spot on. You can pretty much use anything and stand a chance. Not like SMG start in H2, or AR start in H4, or even need a Load out like H4. I never felt like I had to seek out a BR/DMR in order to continue.
P.S. Absolutely love what was done with the Pistol.
Thank you and I hope that everything in the MCC gets fixed soon.
