Halo 2 classic is by far my favorite playlist, I used to get into games at a decent pace but now it’s only goes to “searching for more players” and I can never successfully join a game, anybody having this issue?

I’m right there with you!! 343 has absolutely killed the franchise for me and ruined the momentum I have had going in. I only bought it and the xbox 1 to play CE online finally and they have managed to -Yoink- that up. I mean 10 years ago I used to purchase games that were actually finished, I know crazy. Lets see just off the top of my head what is messed up:

Controls- wtf happened to have x- reload, b-melee, y- change weapons, a-jump, right tri- shoot and lrft trig- grenade!!! well that is not an option anymore, apparently they didnt want the original controller settings in their new shiny game or if they did I have not been able to find them. Oh ya almost forgot wtf is this save this controller set up for every game option? Um I can assure you the primary control set up that i mentioned is what i want with the rest of the crap i could careless how it works. I dont really care where “use equipment” goes, trust me just let me keep my basic set up of the original. I’m curious as to why they did this? Was it for H4 set up, bc if so I can assure you for the worst game in the series we more than likely wont be playing it.

The slayer matchses are set at max 10 people!!! Who the hell thought that was a good idea, I want 4v4 not fing 5v5 nor do I want fing vehicles in my matches unless I’m playing BTB. Apparently maybe the 4v4 online matches are patented or something or they have some stupid logic where they thought 5v5 match on prisoner would be totally awesome. Let me reiterate vehicles do not belong in slayer matches unless its on BTB. I mean right now the slayer mp is a mini version of BTB almost, gd wtf were they thinking or were they thinking?

The lag and basiccally non-dedicated servers even though they promised dedicated servers, which I took as them having right off the bat but apparently they are coming later; to bad they never mentioned that before the game was released. Playing online is terrible, its just a terrible experience. The obvious lag and hitbox issues in combination with the 5v5 slayer matches is not fun especially in combiination with P2P. I guess I should be glad though that I got into a lag infested P2P game.

Not having a CE playlist, what a bunch of crap that is when, imo, many people bought it for that reason and funny they also never mentioned that before release, oh wait they did 2 days before or something. Also it does not need to be 2v2 make it also 4v4. I would be fine with a few changes though such as reducing grenade quantity to 2. Overall CE is laggy as hell and for a supposedly competitive game the online experience is far from that. I miss the old days and was hoping for a return, but now I realize that return is never going to happen with 343. Hell the sniper sound from the original was replaced with I think the H4 sniper sound, maybe someone could confirm that, but it is different.

H2 anniversary edition just looks basically reskinned in H4 and I fing hated H4.

No ranking yet, but that doesnt really matter due to the already known issues with the online play.
There is so much wrong with the MCC that I highly doubt it will be fixed anytime soon if at all. 343 has burned me with H4 and now with this beta version of MCC so I can safely say that I will not be buying H5 no matter how much hype there is. I mean damn how hard can it be to basically copy and paste the old games and keep their originality, but nope we get 343 who wants to add their flare or some bs crap into the original series again and this is the result of that… ya the future of Halo doesn’t look to be in good hands and in fact is dying a slow agonizing death of incompetence.
I’ve had abit more luck getting games if I hard boot my console before I try to search for a game to be honest it’s all abit hit and miss I still think this should of been sorted so that we can at least get games by now without hard booting anymore info from 343i that anyone knows about

To who will you hate, though? **343 doesn’t visit this site.**You’re just hating to the community. Still waiting on two achievements to unlock. Uprising and Dawn. Funny it says its unlocking. for the last two weeks. Really makes me not want to buy Halo 5. Multiplayer, gave up on it, maybe just play it using system link! Makes you think if this happens with Halo 5 343 will have to close its doors. I won’t know cause I was the last of my Halo friends to continue playing the series. Like my friends done with the series, this was the final straw. Why, because they don’t know what is wrong or how to fix it. Look at 343 posts.
My complaint?
Co-Op over Live in Halo 2 doesn’t work w/ my father. Open NATs, and we can play any of the other games in the set without issue.
3 weeks in, and we are so frustrated we might just hang up our hats and call it quits if this isn’t corrected soon.
Fix this piece of sh#t game already this is bullsh#t I’m so sick of these damn companies releasing sht products that we pay through the teeth for and we are always left taking it up the -Yoink- 343 you did this with halo 4 now even worse with this game I for one will never buy another on of your products ever again I should have learned my lesson the first time cause you guys can spit all the bullsht you want but we know your not sorry you could give a sh*t about us as long as your pockets are full!! First of all, there is a difference between an imperfect game and a completely broken game. Halo MC is completely broken. If I were to sit here and list all of the game’s problems, it would take multiple posts because of the character limit. It is a complete letdown and the fact that they have been unable to fix problems, and have actually made them worse, makes me doubt their ability to make this game playable. Too bad I can’t get a refund for my digital purchase, but they got the money right? That’s all that really matters anymore to developers.

343 industries have yet to fix matchmaking ranking system. I worked my way up slowly to lvl 13 to loose a game and drop back down to lvl 3.wtf!?Im not the only one that this has happened too since I encountered another played that also got lvl dropped drastically.I dont feel like i want to play it any longer.
I have played Halo ever since the first Halo was released and i love it! Halo is the best game ever made! When i first heard about this new Master Chief Collection, i was so excited, All old Halo multiplayer maps in one console? How cool is that? So i buy it, of course! 60 euro was not so bad for best game ever made! And when i finally get my hands on my loving game, what happens? Servers won’t work! I can do dishes while i waiting to get game and it takes about half a hour to clean all dishes and still no game! WFT seriously? And now it’s been 2 weeks since the game was released and still nothing! When i finally find a game after 15 min waiting, it won’t even work! Once i was alone in game after 20 min of waiting! So i have to ask, is it so fuckhing hard to fix multiplayer servers?!

How can you guys compare a game to anything else ALL games have bugs they all get updates when halo 2 launched it had major networking errors as well as champaign errors. It is a game and it will have issues just either return it or wait for it to become fixed.

Lol, You can’t return digital downloads. or opened games at a lot of stores. Campaign seems to work flawless and its awesome. Wish they had a matchmaking playlist for CO-OP. Dedicated server for host wouldn’t necessarily be required. I think most of the people have the right to complain about their concerns when the matchmaking released felt like a beta test. Matchmaking appears to be working now but with limited playlist, only one ranking, and popular votes seem to push aside good maps that need to get played more than occasional. Yeah there are people out there that like h1 h2 BTB sized maps. Is it the less polished graphics swaying votes?

I agree. Some people are turning venting into some awful comments. 343 are actual people behind this de personalized medium. They are tuning every second they get. Lets remember they are people and be a bit nicer
They shouldn’t have announced or released this game until they knew for sure it was functional. I bought this Digitally and everyday I regret it and was just told I wont be able to get a refund. 343 literally lied and stole peoples money.
