I don’t understand why this game was released so early, knowing that it has a lot of bugs and problems.
Everytime we get a fix we gave to use the memory we paid for.
I just got my xbox one month and 80% of my memory is used.
With all those fixes and updates all my memory will be gone.
500 G is simply not enough. I want to purchase a lot of other games, but I won’t because the lousy 20% memory i got left.
I surely won’t dowload any games!

To be fair to the ET game it was very difficult. It was the market being flooded with very poor quality titles that killed gaming and especially Atari at the time.
Which actually is what is happening now.
So history could repeat itself.
I was playing Halo 4 LASO campaign and the game after mission Reclaimer decided to wipe out my entire progress! That’s a fair reason for me to demand my money back. I can totally and fully understand MP & connectivity issues can be beyond reach on a studio test but campaign issues are unacceptable, it means that they haven’t played their game at all. I can’t realise how none of the testers did not experience the game not saving and the game deleting playlist progress and the game crashing and the game not starting back! (Seriously I launched it and I kept getting an Xbox message: Sorry, Halo: Master Chief Collection took to long to start). Now, I am ok with them trying to figure out MP issues but campaign not working is ridiculous. Also I am so sorry that I don’t sympathize them “doing ther best to fix it”. If my TV breaks as soon as I buy it, or if it is already broken, and return it to LG I don’t expect them to do their best, I expect them to FIX it. Because I paid them for this job, it’s their job, it’s not easy but if it was, then I would make the TV myself and I wouldn’t buy it from them.
Now, if they have problems fixing MP it’s ok. But campaign should be patched to the state that it is 100% FULLY FUNCTIONAL. I don’t accept 99.99% functionality either. I want it 100% functional.
Halo is dead
Hey,
So had the collection for some time now and a couple of updates have come through. Match making still does not connect me in any reasonable time. Big team battle does not seem to work at all. This using the thanksgiving weekend update. I presume there are more updates coming?
I find games in halo 3 no problem. But everything else can be slow, and the post lobby bs is annoying, and in h2a I can only play one map and after that game no other map will load in the matchmaking unless I exit the game or it crashes. Still love the game. As far as being dead people have been saying that since MLG dropped halo, who cares, they have all those “super exciting” RTS games now 
How do we know they’re doing all they can? Because they say so? We just have to trust a company that promised an awful lot leading up to MCC’s release, and has already proved themselves incapable of living up to their promises?

My campaign isn’t working. It broke my save with the last patch. It freezes on loading. So no, my game is not “more than barely functional” for me. Speak from your own experience with your game. I’m glad it’s “mostly functional” for you. At least you’re getting to have fun with it.

Last time I checked you can’t get a refund at Game stop for open games.
I have also had a bad time with halo mcc, the matchmaking fails on all levels for me. i have had a 1 and 1/2 hour wait for a matchmaking game, which seems pretty standard for it. the updates have done nothing for me.
here is a list of other issues ive been experiencing:
- unexplained game crashes when loading multiplayer maps,
-joining a matchmaking lobby and getting stuck in the voting screen with no option to leave,
-being put into a waiting list with 16 spaces which then gets stuck and doesn’t join any games. - experiencing crippling lag when i finally join a game to the extent that i can count to three between me pulling LT, hearing the grenade throwing sound effect, and a grenade being thrown ( i have a solid internet connection),
- constant controller problems, feeling sticky when aiming as well as sudden disconnects
-sometimes i can shoot somebody upwards of ten times with a BR (3 to body,1 to head then keep going) and i will be killed in 4 shots
-Meanwhile some players experience better gameplay and i lose as a result! incredibly frustrating.
There are also a number of menu screen options that are poor:
-navigating between customization and player card options takes too long,
-Options for multiplayer are poor, why was swat and snipers left out? why is halo 3 multiplayer not as it was on 360? it was good on 360. just one option for halo 3 matches is not enough
-there is an incredible lack of variety in the online experience, what is the point in having ‘over 100 multiplayer maps’ if the same game type on the same map is constantly played. (i get BR’s on lockdown for halo 2 anniversary pretty much every time and BRs on construct pretty much every time on halo 3)
hopefully some of the above issues can be addressed, i will not be buying halo 5 or anything else bungie or 343 decide to release before its finished. i also played destiny which still gives me a ton of error codes.

what I was implying is that you have a degree in programming and experience in the video game industry to tell the difference between incompetence and taking on a massive project.

Nobody is defending 343. They released a bug-riddled game with broken matchmaking. People who hate 343 industries know it, people who like 343 industries know it, and 343 industries have come right out and said it.
All four singleplayer campaigns work. All 100 plus maps, custom games, and forge work. The vast majority of the game–the vast majority of what you have installed on your hard drive, works. However, matchmaking, co-op and saved games are a complete disaster–and these are issues of critical importance.
The only difference of opinion in these forums is due to hyperbole and people discussing how they want to be compensated, if at all.
It is quite clear that the internal testing environment at 343 industries is simply not up to the challenge of accurately identifying all the matchmaking bugs before launch. Is this due to incompetence? I don’t know, but bad launches seem to be a common trend in recent video game releases.
I just want the game fixed by the time I finish inching my way through the Legendary campaigns.

Won’t speed it up but people can at least have a little bit of a voice and vent their anger out. They have the right to do that.

No one wants to play 5v5s, make the max players 8…
I have been trying for an hour now to find a multiplayer match. While in the finding game screen, the status reads found players, no one ever shows up in the lobby. After about ten minutes of frustrating anticipation the status will begin to read connecting session, but still to mine and many others disappointment, nothing happens. I really hope they release another patch for this game soon because even with the bugs that are in it that are currently known the game is still fun when it finally functions properly
