The latest “patch” just broke my campaign. Freezes every time when I try to load it. So no, it doesn’t work 95% of the time for me. For you, maybe it does, but don’t make claims about everyone else experience.
I’m deeply disappointed in this game. I will not be buying HAlo 5 new…I’ll buy it used…if at all. I’m interested in the story…but…I can catch it on Youtube. The fact that the Multiplayer works so poorly, (again…) IF AT ALL, almost a month out is inexcusable. I’ll be trading it in after the Beta.

I really wish I would have read all this before throwing my money away on this game. I can’t find any Halo 4 multiplayer or a single match of Team SWAT. How is this a “Collection” if it leaves out critical features such as Halo 4’s entire multiplayer missing. I would really like to find out how to get my money back for this. I’m so pissed I didn’t buy GTA V instead. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!! YOUR GAME SUCKS!!! =(

Man, if I were a 343 staff member, I would disappointed, ashamed, and embarrassed about this game. The simplest mechanics of this game were bugged (1th place, are you kidding me?). I have spent hours and hours on every single halo game before this one, (including Reach and 4) and was undoubtedly was looking forward to this game. I was literally counting how many days were left til this game came out since it was announced at E3. I just hope 343 finds a way over this to continue the series with Halo 5, I would hate to see this game go out like this.

This is not a valid argument.
I do not have to be trained in a particular field to be able to complain about it.
Think about it for a moment.
Anyone can judge incompetence it is about someone’s lack of ability.
No one is claiming they can do better.
It’s poor reasoning to say that is the only time they can complain. Also I am of course unaware that there is a degree in judging competence.
I have an arts degree (photography) but it does not give me the right to tell everyone who does not have one that they cannot judge the competency of a photographers work.

Yeah I see a lot of “you should never buy a console just to play one game” kinda posts (and most of them aren’t worded that politely) on here.
What a lot of kids (and by kids I mean the newer gamers that have not been through many, if any, console launches before and don’t even know a time when games worked on release) don’t seem to understand is that some games are referred to as “system sellers.” That means that they are exactly the kind of game people buy a whole console just to play. Millions of people bought the original xbox console just to play Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2. Even more people bought the Xbox 360 for Halo 3, and now people are buying an Xbox One just for Halo. Until this game came out, buying an entirely new consoles just to play Halo was not a bad idea and the games always delivered.
Previous Halo titles had always delivered and were always worth upgrading to a newer console just to play, so there was no reason to believe that the Master Chief Collection would be any different.
i understood and saw how great this game was to be if it functioned with multiplayer and everything else working I would be playing day and night then getting it and only was able to play two matches over waiting a while for it to connect I don’t even understand how others not even getting to play multiplayer and it’s been almost a month since release I think Microsoft would have 343 recall it and for me I haven’t seen a game be recalled and its a real shame that I went to buy gta v again so I could play something on my Xbox while I wait on new patches that hopefully get us on multiplayer once more and I wouldn’t pre order halo 5 depending on how the beta works out as of right now this game is a bust
If 343 and Microsoft really want to make it up to us they should be offering a heavily discounted Halo 5 when it is released to anyone who purchased MCC. minimum 50% discount on retail price.
AS for this MCC. HURRY UP AND RELEASE THE NEXT PATCH! The 2nd patch has made match making even worse of this Australian player. Halo was the ONLY reason I didn’t get a PS4. Starting to regret it now!
