Brief overview, game is unplayable in the current state: Halo Reach
Jeez where to start?
Hit reg is non functional
DMR is broken
latency issues disallow competitive gameplay
AFK farmers rampant
the sound overall is just awful
maps are ultra whack (swat on battle canyon is just terrible)
Melee does not work half the time
Aim assist on controller is essentially aimbot for PC players
I’d have to write a book on grifball for Gods sake
text chat window rarely functions correctly
physics are inconsistent
ban system is completely whack, why am I being punished for leaving a match full of afk farmers? Or a match where my teammates are going 4-19 while i go 20-5? or simply a match where my teammates leave and its a 1v4?
Progression system is the worst in any Halo title by far, really I preferred Halo 5’s garbage battle pack system over this.
Unlocks from old Reach are unfairly left behind, seriously, I already wasted hundreds of hours on Reach almost a decade ago to get gear I wanted, nobody wants to do it again.
Certain cosmetics in which special criteria needed to be met in old Reach, can simply be unlocked now via afk farming (IE flaming helmets, I had orange flame legit in old Reach and now every 11 year old grinding every day after school has it)
343 is basically giving participation awards instead of rewarding players for being actually good at the game, so there’s no incentive to strive to be better at the core game
This just isn’t Halo anymore tbh
