When you guys go see a film you detest, do you then go see it over and over again and go on IMBd and complain about it? Or do you not watch it again and move on? Just curious.
DEAR GOD YES!!! And the poll!! Great job sir.
When a film in a series you love isn’t up to par with its predecessors, thus setting a low standard for future instalments in the series, do you complain about it?
While some complainers DO give valid points to complain about, some people’s complaints are on the verge of trolling.
For those commplainers who say that the thing that killed them is OP or whatever (You know who you are) please do leave if you’re not going to be mature enough to constructively criticize the game.
Serious question is DUMB!
Well I didn’t pay $60 to see a movie either did I? Also the game is meant to be played and if I can’t play to its intended purpose then I have all right to complain, just as much as you to make this thread asking a ridiculous question…
This post was just really stupid.
Depends on how often the issue is brought up.
Usually, if I don’t like a film, I just pick the parts that I do like and watch those in clip form (on YouTube).
> When a film in a series you love isn’t up to par with its predecessors, thus setting a low standard for future instalments in the series, do you complain about it?
Sure. Do I take to the web to launch a campaign against it and declare all future installments to be “ruined”? No, because I have a life.
The more important question I asked - do you continually subject yourself to the film you hate as you guys seemingly do with Halo, which you hate?
Why didn’t I see this coming?
Alright I’m perfectly ok with criticism, but some of these OP complaints are just plain stupid. I mean, maybe you’re dying because you stand out in the open, or rush corners… Still, there are legitimate problems like join in progress, 3 vs 2 starts in infinity slayer, trying to download disk 2 on an Xbox slim, etc. Sadly the troll threads are restricting the legitimacy of those complaints that actually matter.
When I feel I have a justified complaint about something, usually I voice the complaint at the same time as trying to suggest a solution to it.
I don’t really think I can post here what an old senior chief in the navy used to tell me was the definition of people that just make complaints.
> This post was just really stupid.
My Grade-A detective skills allow me to sense that you are a complainer. =3

Compleeeetely different things in terms of community and money. Last time I checked a movie didn’t cost $60, boast that it’s rewatchable, and have it’s own forum or following…

Movies are meant to be watched, and if they are bad, people typically do not continue with their intended purpose - watching them.
What follows then is that games, their purpose to be played, that suck (Halo 4, apparently), would reasonably follow the same pattern.
Bad = stop subjecting self to it. Pretty basic human response.
Logic’d

So if something costs $20 on blu ray and is awful… you won’t continue to watch it over and over. But if it costs $60 and is a game… you will continue to play it and hate it.
So, this being your reasoning, what is the exact price cut-off for masochistic behavior like repeating things you hate?

So your saying just give up on the game because we dont like things about it? It makes much more sense to go on the forums and give feedback then to just say whatever I dont care that I spent $60 on a game that I dont agree with. Feedback, negative or positive is always with good intention unless you’re just a troll. And trust me, nobody who complains about this game hates Halo. The biggest fans are the ones who voice their opinion, to better the future.
A movie can’t go back and change itself based on feedback it receives, however a video game can with title updates. There is a huge difference.
This whole situation is analogous to Batman.
As Bane said, the prison deep in a hole was more toxic than any other. Why? Because the light, the possibility of escape gave one hope. Hope is what made them so miserable.
And as I now decree: this official forum for Halo 4 is the light. The hope. You cry and cry like a child hoping a parent will fix your tummy with milk. The hope that 343i will nerf every gun that you get owned by, that they will change the coding just so… if you only complain enough. If you only climb the wall enough!
But alas, this hope keeps you playing a game you detest daily. You continue to hope that, if you are devoted enough in your crusade against your own self, that 343i will save you. That you will finally climb the wall.
Bane was right.

Feedback is not the same as hyperbolic complaints. One weapon RUINED a franchise? Really? A weaker warthog DESTROYED Halo? Ranking system WRECKED EVERYTHING.
Maybe if the average person giving “feedback” actually gave feedback and didn’t just hurl ridiculous claims of cheaters, broken guns, etc that are inextricably linked to them getting their -Yoink- handed to them online, this thread wouldn’t be necessary.

The thing is though, it should go like this:
this official forum for Halo 4 is the light. The hope. You cry and cry like a child hoping a parent will fix your tummy with milk. The hope that complaining about complainers will stop them voicing legit concerns… if you only complain enough. If you only climb the wall enough!
But alas, this hope keeps you pretending to enjoy, and protect, a game you really detest . You continue to hope that, if you are devoted enough in your crusade against your own self, that everyone will blindly love Halo 4, no matter how flawed. That you will finally climb the wall.
