So I saw these days a lot of people saying they’re turning this into a Call of Duty, with “all this bullcrap” added. I believe that those people can’t accept the fact that Halo will change, will add a perfectionned side of the gameplay. Halo will never be CoD, and CoD will never be Halo. It’s just a matter of perspective. I mean, everybody’s taking the changes that 343 did, and then they evaluate that part of the game and they compare it to games like Call of Duty and find it alike. Halo will still have its Halo base. For example, it won’t take 2 shots to kill the dude. Plus, people start complaining and they didn’t see even 1% of the game. Come on, be optimist!

The number of complainers is a small fraction in Halo’s enormous fan base. We just see a lot of their forums because they like to spam and rant on with no objective in mind. 343 doesn’t care and you really can’t do anything about them.

You stated the answer to your own question but couldn’t realize it. In my perspective the options they’re adding are 100% worthless gimmicks to keep A.D.D. ridden 12 year olds attention for 30 seconds at a time. I believe it ruins what I once knew and loved to be halo. This is the halo 4 forum. Stop complaining about people voicing there opinions on a forum.
Well any studio that makes big changes without a Beta are just stupid. I cant believe they didnt have a Beta. And now you will see patches galore. 343 is not doing a good job getting people excited for this game. I have been a Halo fan for over a decade and I am very disappointed with 343 and Halo 4 in its current stage. A fan like myself let Halo die when the chief did. And yes fo9lks he is gone.

You make it sound like people are saying Halo is literally going in to the COD series. The COD thing is an exaggeration(obviously) saying Halo is becoming like COD(which is used as the symbol for pretty much all modern generic FPS shooters) and loosing its uniqueness that Halo has always had and been known for. I love Halo because Halo is different from the usual and dull generic FPS games, it seems as though Halo is slipping out of what made Halo great, I’m not going to fully judge it for myself yet, but right now it looks like its slipping badly. Sure Halo should have upgrades(evolve) but that doesn’t mean it has to lose its individuality and become another boring generic shooter like COD. I hope 343 will defy many expectations and end up making a great Halo game.

People aren’t excited? The Halo 4 forum population jumped to almost double what it was before GI came. Waypoint population has been booming. People are excited, some excited because the game will be good, some because they want to see if it is good, some because they want to watch it fail. Excitement and hype is only rising, my friend.
And, don’t doubt the game yet. You haven’t seen everything, especially the campaign. Any Halo “fan” would probably want to at least rent the game to start the Chief and Halo’s new story. If there is room for a little bit more, Have some F4ith!
i can understand that you don’t like complainers as do i but ( and i dont know how long you have been playing halo or games) if you look at all the FPS from the last 5 years ( excluding the rpgfps) you can clearly see that they are all heading toward COD clones by adding so much more stuff the saying its great but all it does is ruining the games we loved and grew up with a great example was a recent game called Halo reach honestly this was my MW2 of halo (btw i think MW2 was when COD hit rock bottom) because it felt more like they focused to much on multiplayer because a lot people didnt like halo 3"s (cough cough the younger audience/serious gamers cough cough) but what they either forgot or didnt see was how many people were on custom games playing fun maps like GHOSTBUSTERS!!! games are suppose to be entertaining and buy listening to the wrong crouds who dont adapt to games or think everything is cheap IE the cloak powerup in halo 3 makes games bad… the cloak in halo 3 was fine because it help gamers adapt to the thought that someone was invisible and at least i could still see them if i looked hard enought… what im getting at is game companies need to get out of making games for money and in to games that make fans and normal gamers happy and entertained like BUNGIE hmmm WHO MADE HALO CE THROUGH ODST WITHOUT OUTSIDE HELP. the reason y 343 is making halo like this is because Microsoft wants halo to be top in the xbox list but u know who owns the first 2 ranks… COD games and reach is in 5th because 343 went in and listened to the wrong complainers and made the dmr and pistol a easy weapons to use PS PEOPLE YOU HAVE TO LEARN WHO TO USE THEM ITS NOT SUPPOSE TO BE EASY what im really getting at is if you want to add stuff release betas other wise us Blizzards golden rule IF IT AINT BROKE DONT FIX IT( P.S. my opinions so i didnt say they are facts)

and i will probably buy it for the campaign and maybe for custom games
The only thing that is going to stop the complaining in this forum is if the mods step in and consider this amount of complaining about the same content spam.
