When ever I set scoring and time HUD to competitive time; it doesn’t show up in the right-bottom of the screen when you play. Also when I save and quit after I lose a minute or two when trying to speed run; then resume, the game no longer keeps my time at the checkpoint, it keeps the time from when I save and quit. Is this 343i trying to make it more difficult for us to get the speed run achievements? Does anyone know?
I’ve been having the same issue. I have tried resetting my Xbox, changing missions, games, and difficulties. It was just fine before the patch as well. Haven’t seen a lot of posts about this. Hopefully they fix it or someone finds a fix.
Competitive time not showing up is bugged, but in my opinion the timer should keep your time from when you save and quit and not the checkpoint. Seems like a bit of a cheat to just save and quit when something doesn’t go your way.
