competitive stats optional?(please)

i know alot of people love having competitive stats.
but some people just play to have fun, even if its a game type that doesnt support a good k/d ratio.
alot of people i know like infection but they start as the infected more than not.first zombie best k/d 10/0 =+10

im wanting to see a way to hide or not record stats, when ever you want.

OPT. OUT CSR: this would be where this might be a good idea, csr in halo 3 was soo important,
but if you messed around in a few games with friends your rank would drop.
and the last few upto 50 were harder to get.
so you would have (CSR:X) which means you opted out and (CSR:–) would be you havent played.
opt out would just be hidden you could check it by opting back in.

IF HIDDEN:
if stats are hidden you could choose which.
so i hide all metals but sniper kills and assasinations, or i can just hide k/d.
hidden still keeps track of everything, just doesn’t show it.

IF NO RECORD:
nothing would record, even if you got 200 kills and perfect everything or a - 45 kd and no metals your stats wouldnt change.
this would be used for just a couple games here and there.
so if me and some friends wanted a real game with random people, and were planning to mess around
and didnt want any stat changes we could toggle before game.
you would have the option for it to be in effect for a few games or for a day. or if its a campaign-(attempting something weird that kills you alot)or multiplayer non-score.

Sorry dude, but that hidden part looks like a really good way for people to fake looking like a pro; hiding selective stats like that unless you have a good elaboration to tell me that’s not the case.

Makes sense, not everybody keeps track of stats too. Its more for other people than it is for me in my opinion.

if you were to pick selectively , all the stats you hid would show that they are hidden. but if you were to compare you stats to
someone who has hidden theirs selectively.

if you had 4,000 multikills and their hidden multikills were only 2,500 yours would show higher. with an arrow on stats up or down.
you wouldnt know how many they had but you would know if yours were better or not.

I think a toggle feature in the menus would work here instead of this hidden thing the OP suggested. Make it so CSR is tracked for everybody, but give those who don’t want to see it an option to turn it on/off in the menu system.
