Competitive Ranking/Multiplayer stats reset daily?

It seems my competitive multiplayer rank (number inside the circle) is resetting each day? Is this by design? Maybe due to using steam rather than Microsoft store?

Reviewing multiplayer “career” status for matchmaking also shows 0 for all values (wins,kills,deaths,assists) at the beginning of the day so I’m pretty sure something isn’t working right here.

Please explain or fix!

Stats are still incorrect when they do show. The weeks of added deaths haven’t been amended.
