I basically have gotten over not having a ranking system, 343 can do whatever they want with the matchmaking. My issue in pure play experience around this has always been, I like being able to select the “social” or “ranked” playlists, for when I have a serious 4 team going on, or I just want to dink around, and it’s hard to find a serious team with only 1 “slayer” to pick from. It makes it hard to find competition.
However today I hit the opposition of this problem. Playing with a few casual guys, we hit 5,6, 7 matches in a row against some of the best 4 man teams I’ve seen yet, and it burned my friends off this game forever, and I can’t blame them. You HAVE to find a way to separate teams of 4 willy pros trying to lvl, from people trying to discover a game. Even COD is attempting to separate out serious competitive play…how they hell did they out hardcore you halo?
I dig on 343s game, but why such blah matchmaking options? Why no horde or anything co op (spec ops is like playing the same camp mission over and over and over)?
Why mysterious halo waypoint armor finds for community stuff? Give us double xp weekend playlists, bungie 7 on the 7th random maps, GRIFBALL MATCHMAKING, ranked playlists, DOUBLES playlists. Why make this kick -Yoink- game and limit the options we can use it in (outside of customs)??? You’ve cut off half your kick -Yoink- games legs 343, come on now
