I’ve been playing halo “competitively” since halo 1 (lan tournaments and such) and took a break during the reach era just simply due to lack of interest, however i’m starting to play a lot again and in need of some more competitive playlists.
here’s a few suggestion
- a more standard FFA playlist, it doesn’t have to have hardcore settings but maybe a limit on ordinance drops in some way
2)a mlg or “pro” objective playlist, this could be mixed with the straight slayer game type and would be ideal to keep the playlists populated
- some form of 2v2, the less gimmicks(ordinance, AA) with the game settings the better but at this point i’m not too particular
i realize the vast majority of the player base in pretty much any game is the casual player base, so i dont expect this to come to fruition, which is why its a wish list. I believe that for a game to truely succeed the casual base and the more hardcore base need to be catered to in some capacity. competitive players need the popularity provided by the casual player and hardcore players can act as a form of legitimizing the game for casuals.
