What about turning the current FFA playlist into a rumble pit/social FFA Playlist? Then making a competitive FFA Playlist thats like brs pistols, or just pistols on truth and make that ranked? Thats current GB settings for competitive ffas, make it like halo 2 again so ranked FFA means something again.
To be honest, I’m glad 343 are steering clear of BR/Pistol only matches unless it’s SWAT. Now that the other weapons are finally worth picking up it gives the game a hell of a lot more variety. That’s my opinion anyway.

I would enjoy this very much, I acknowledge Donbot’s logic, but there is something very fun about a BR start in FFA. When they had MLG FFA in halo 3, I could not put that game down and I feel like a lot of people enjoy this time of gameplay. My friends and I absolutely love FFA BR customs and it would be great to see it as a playlist. The only other BR start playlist is BTB and that is not always something you can play by yourself.

To be fair I wouldn’t mind if it was a game type within FFA that came up every now and again. I think it became a problem in previous Halo’s when the voting system was there and BR’s is the only thing players chose. At least now that is gone and people just play the match they are given.
Not played FFA in a while so I’m guessing it’s still standard weapons?

Yeah, FFA is regular weapons. There is a lot of camping around corners with automatic weapons and spartan charging, but some of that does go away once you get up to diamond/onyx/champ. It still happens, just not as frequently. BR start would fit a nice niche as a permanent playlist, but i would really like to see it as a rotational first. It could potentially be cancer just like FFA swat, it needs to be play tested.
