Been searching each week at different times and dates can’t seem to ever get in a Competitive match anymore on H4 Squad Battle or Halo:Reach Invasion. Are these to modes completely dead now? Thanx

From my experience in the States all playlists in ranked are dead except for Halo 3.

I feel like this will just be a prologue for what’s to come. Eventually when MCC gets old enough there won’t be anyone playing the social playlists. It would help if we had a consistent way to earn exp outside of challenges in PvE modes.

Given how cheap MCC is on PC and how it’s a games pass staple I don’t see this coming anytime soon. From the perspective of a USA player for what it’s worth. MCC isn’t massively popular, but it’s more less held its position on the trueachievements popularity charts pretty well.
Halo 3 Team Slayer is the busiest comp playlist. I play it enough weekly that I can knock out the win 2 comp matches achievement. Halo 4 sucks so I’m not surprised nobody is playing that.
Its only dead because you can play BR Starts in Social Matchmaking. If BR Starts was only for Rank Matchmaking then you would definitely see more players playing it

I mainly only play competitive for challenges, but haven’t been able to match in nearly any playlist.
I wish Invasion was more popular. Sometimes I think if it were an option in the BTB hopper, it’d be more available? Granted, an increased player count would be needed and I’m sure balancing would be hell. (Spawns are still rough and easy to trap players still in most maps)
Also, I guess this is throwaway because I can get instantly more entertaining Invasion modes in customs browser.
What do I even desire anymore.

Invasion should be absorbed into BTB yeah. I love the Pub Team but the curation of playlists is quite dismal. Swatnums needs to stop lol.

H4 Squad Battle has been dead since Infinite’s Campaign launch. Doesn’t help much either that H4 is the least popular multiplayer of the whole collection. The 10th anniversary of H4 is coming up soon on Nov. 6th though, so if you really want one last H4 Ranked match, may be call to the community to repopulate the playlist just for one day?

Really wish 343 added populations to playlists so we could see realistically how long we’d have to wait for a match.
