I SAID BE GONE
BE GONE
Darn, sorry about that my magic staff and toy ban hammer arnt working right now but in all seriousness when was halo a competitive game? Yes it made MLG what it is today, Yes it is rather competitive friendly, but how does that make it a competitive game? I see all these threads saying "Oh, halo is competitive, Sprint makes it horrible"or “Armor ability’s are slowing it down :(”
but in truth its not. It just so happened it made players even in every way so the competitive came in and rented a room.
Halo was ment for social players ever since it was first released. It lets friends get together, Pop off a soda, and sit on the couch with endless fun in a triggers pull. We can create worlds, see in anthers eyes, and imagine were the greatest badass there ever was.
So to all those complaining that 343 isn’t catering to the competitive’s
Why sould they
halo was never ment for you in the first place
so ether you can pack up and turn in your room keys or stay in that little dirty room you call MLG and deal with it.

Are you serious?
I don’t think you even know what competitive means.

OP has no idea what he is talking about.
Sit down please and let the adults talk.
Halo was played by competitive and casuals, and worked for both too.
Reach strayed away from that. It only works for casuals, and competitive players now hate it.
To say Halo wasn’t meant or shouldn’t cater to competitive play is stupid, because it always has, and that’s what made it successful. A game that works for competitive players can work for casual players.
It was made for both. Also, no, why should we leave? Your type of people come in, ruin Halo for everyone, and tell us all to leave?
That’s like I let you live in my apartment for a couple of weeks, you destroy and replace my Van Halen posters with your Justin Beiber dolls, you make my apartment dirty, and then you tell me I need to leave?
Selfish OP, very selfish.
So what you’re saying is Bungie never made Halo to be a game people took serious? They never meant for people to try and win every game? Oh wait, they actually did. I would have to find the article but when Halo CE was first announced a Bungie employee talked about making a competitive game that friends could play each other in and win. Then they basically took all the info from that game and tried to make Halo 2 even more competitive, oh wait then they did it again for Halo 3.

Seriously don’t post again.
One thing that has really pissed me off is how these type of people swear they started playing in Halo CE. Please, half of them, maybe even more are lying.

to me it is capable of being both competitive and a game to just go have fun on. Oh and also this is going to make me sound stupid; Who is OP?

Do you even -Yoinking!- know what are you talking about?
Halo was ALWAYS supposed to be competitive AND casual-friendly with his playlists, Social and Ranked.
But with Reach, it COMPLETELY CHANGED. The game was just a big socal playlist itself! With his armor abilities, loadouts, BLOOM, it maked Halo Reach a casual-friendly game like what? Call of duty.
All the competitive players wants a HALO game, not a -Yoink- Call of Duty: Futuristic Warfare.
> I don’t think you even know what competitive means.
lol agreed.

It’s kinda sad because this is what determines the next halo.

Quoted for truth.
So you want half of the playing Halo community to up and leave?
That’s an excellent recipe for failure.
