Competitive Aussies

Hey guys,

Looking for fellow Australians to join our competitive team, we are signed up on CyberGamer and currently have a 4v4 team going, need a few members to fill spots, and to practice with.

Send a Friend Request to ‘RejectedDonut’ or send me a pm here, or reply to this post.

We are all 18-22 years old, have played competitively in other games as well as halo, and are looking to play Lan events within Australia, if possible.

All Aussies are welcome to send me a friend request, and dont be disheartened, worst case scenario we stay friends, play custom games and matchmaking together and have a load of fun.

  • Donut.

Oh hey I’d be interested in joining.

Just kidding I don’t give a -Yoink- lol.

if you dont care, dont post.

Well I’m not 18-22 years of age, but I’m Aussie, and I see myself as a competitive halo player. I would love to join you and practice with a top notch team, I sent you a friend request so if you’ve still got spots open and don’t mind that I’m an outsider in terms of age then I’ll look forward to playing with you.

Age is no boundary, was just giving people an idea of our age/experience before deciding to send a friend request.

I will be online soon as well as some other members of the team, i will accept you when i hop on.

i dont believe there is any competitive halo 4 Australians due to 343’s horrible handling of international matchmaking

> COMPETITIVE AUSSIES

Is an oxy-moron in this game thanks to 343’s impeccable decision to not include a simple good connection option… I have managed to get a 1.45 K/D in spite of the horrible lag, but that is way under what I achieved in earlier Halo games and it is often incredibly infuriating. The Americans are struggling to make good quality games these days, I reckon we need to move development to a place that knows there is more than one country in the world. Hell, first thing I would do as a multiplayer FPS developer is use ultra-low latency dedicated servers. The quality and performance of a competive online FPS is completely determined by your ping. If you haven’t got that right, you’ve really got nothing right.

Its true, lag is a serious killer, but playing customs with Aussies only results in very competitive games, when play equally skilled players.

maybe try the MLG forums if you are looking for a good team.

“Competitive Aussies” died with the removal of a local only search option.

I was playing in halo 3 competitively and never once did i use the local only search option.

Also to the guy above for using the mlg forums ty for the advice, im looking for f/a’s to play with or just people to party up with in custom games.

I’m willing to play with yous. I’m in Western Australia (ignored by the damn govt.), and i’m slightly out of that age group (16). Been playing since H:CE though.
I can’t get online at the moment, as i’ve just moved house, and need to get things re-set up, but i’d be glad to play some customs once i do get back online.
I can’t get onto PM’s on my laptop for some reason (Dodo :/), so you might have to PM me, and i’ll try get on my desktop soon.

If you did, you would have been a lot better off. I only used it for ranked games of course, no need to worry about it for social as it only increases the time it takes to find a game (which was still kinda annoying in ranked as well but I’d rather wait an extra 3-5 minutes to find a good quality game than go straight into a lag fest and come out -5 for no other reason than my connection).

i wasnt keen on waiting for upwards of 20-30mins to play at rank 50 for good connection, anyway, it builds character and skill, for when you play on host you get much easier kills, and when shots register the feeling is unbelievable haha.
