When do we get the xbox live one month membership? (Yes I played it in the time frame and no I still haven’t received it).

Finally came back to play it after a couple of weeks assuming there would be an improvement, after 3 hours I haven’t had one match at all on ANY playlist.
(Not going to stuff around with settings on my xbox because lets be honest a game should work without me having to do pointless button pressing)
I’m not sure about the free month of xbl and whatever’s going on with that, but if you’ve been looking for a game in the past few hours, it’s not just the MCC, xbl’s been having issues the past few hours with online matchmaking period…usually the game works ok, it has improved, it will usually be in a playable state, but it is still a fair bit from perfect.
You should get a message from xbox live, on your console saying they’ve added 1 month of gold to your account. I got mine the other day.
@Opixonic, yeah I’ve been hearing about issues over the past few weeks. Let’s hope the “Big” patch will come through for the game and hopefully xbox live is being improved. I got one match on team slayer which was lag free but lost interest, I’ve been playing halo 4 on 360 for my fix even been playing through Spartan assault which is surprisingly good for such a game. Depend what games you’re into.
@SweptbackFlame I haven’t gotten a message yet, I read somewhere that they’re still rolling out but this role out began at the end of January supposedly.

Help please, play game from the day of departure, did not send me a free month of live. I need a solution, we are in February.
@kakashi The free month is still rolling out right now, they are continuing into February and I imagine will keep going until everyone has it. It is possible that you already have the free month, just haven’t received the message yet. I posted an FAQ in the main MCC forums, have a look there for how to check your account

When is rank going to stop resetting? When are the other playlists going to be ranked? Where the hell is Team Doubles. When is 343 going to start actually listening and communicating?
Two Matchmaking Games in one hour and that’s been about par. No problems in custom games minus the same chatting problems that have been supposedly fixed: NOT. The games we got into are still buggy and laggy. Kicking people. Weapons disappearing. Achievements won’t unlock. THIS IS JUST PLAIN RIDICULOUS. It has been 100 days!!! You have had 100 days to fix this game, a ton of days before that to actually test the game, and you can’t/didn’t do that!!!
Stop spending so much time on Halo 5 because it’s only a direct copy of Destiny and COD combined. It’s garbage. Try fixing some games that were actually good. I don’t see how you don’t put in more time because if this is the result for games that have already been released, what makes you think that anyone would want to buy a new game from 343. This is utter garbage. I have religiously played Halo, Halo 2, and Halo 3 for years and I cannot do it anymore even though that was what was promised.
I pulled my preorder on Halo 5 and I will not be buying it unless this game is what was promised to me. As far as I’m concerned, you stole $60 from me, because I can’t play even half the game as was advertised. I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD SEE THIS! I have never had much to complain about with the Halo series but that just takes the cake. You need to give the franchise back to Bungie for free. You won’t make any money off of it. You might have to pay them to take it back after what you’ve done to the good name of the Halo Series. Either that or fire everyone and start with some competent individuals that know how to make a video game and actually like Halo.

I still see no evidence whatsoever of the one month xbox live, I’m even under the assumption I’m not getting it anymore and still this game is not working on multiplayer.
This is more than just a broken game, it’s a failure of one of the key “Next Gen” games I wanted. I have so little interest in PS4 games that my console has been collecting dust, my Wii U has been undusted after a good year of games, I play my xbox everyday but when halo came out for xbox one I was over the moon, to top it off it was all 4 Halos with remastered 1 and 2. And after the Halo 5 Beta I can honestly say the next instalment is going to be amazing.
But I am only a nudge away from going into a swearing frenzy over this whole game. Campaign had it’s problems but at least we could play through them 90% of the time, having to replay some due to failed saves, etc were annoying but bearable. I will still go on to say I loved the campaign particularly both anniversary editions of one and two. However, though I am much more interested in the campaigns I still like having a halo night with friends every now and then and play some multiplayer… WHY ISN’T THIS FIXED YET! Like wow I have had the game for that long I doubt I would get my money back even if I wanted to. I would have gladly put all this behind me if it were fixed by now but it isn’t.
Do you even understand how pissed some people are? To just look at a game and be like “I wish I could play that”, I know wait times have been pretty bad, 5-15mins for some people. My last test of the wait time took 8 and a half hours, luckily I had other stuff to do but we did some reboots and so on in the meantime, read a book, youtube, etc. I would like to make a point that this was BTB because it is probably the one and only playlist I go to everytime I play halo. I got not one, not two, not three, but… Wait for it… ZERO GAMES! I can’t believe it myself and I was the one that forced myself through that crap. I hope Halo 5 can blow us out of the water, you have a chance to be better than destiny, COD and so on (which isn’t that hard honestly) but first… FIX… THIS… GAME!!!

Did you get the nameplates and avatars back in December? If you did, the free month should be hitting your account soon. Folk are still receiving it every day. If you didn’t get them, pass your gamertag over to B is for Bravo and he can get the team to check into that for you. Then you should get the free month and ODST when it drops

You should receive a message from XBL if you have the nameplates and stuff they gave out. They gave me a code(although Bravo kept telling EVERYONE that it would be added and we would not receive a code…)
Also the game is still broken, tried it again after 3 weeks, first match 4v2.

I’ll look into it tomorrow morning, I heard about the nameplates and avatars but no idea if I got them. Wish we got some message or notification that indicates I did, some have to search purchase history or something to try and find whether the month has been added to xbox live.

There hasn’t been a patch in at least a month. Nothing would have changed in 3 weeks. Sadly.
