Comparing Reach Customization to Infinite

I understand that more content will eventually come to Infinite, but we will also be asked to pay for each new battle pass, more store content, and more campaign expansions. I would love for this game to succeed and I think 343 has done amazing work on the graphics and gameplay, but at this point I personally can’t even justify buying the campaign unless there are major changes to this system (and more than one biome in the campaign.)

Here is a breakdown of the value of Infinite vs Reach:

Halo Reach ($60 for campaign + MP/forge, co-op etc.):

21 helmets (now 26 in MCC)
18 Chests
18 shoulders
6 wrists

Infinite ($60 for campaign + $10 battlepass +>$1000 of store purchases):
18 helmets
16 chests
11 shoulders
5 wrists

To have a content complete Halo Infinite costs 17 times as much as Reach despite containing… less content. I’m hopeful that 343 will recognize this and change this system, I’m sure it is currently helping Microsoft pay off their debts, but I have a hard time seeing this game lasting 10 years as is.

Let’s also not forget that in Reach we could choose our own colors.

Also @Doctor_Avm don’t worry man I got your suggestions for the list in the other thread, couldn’t reply though because it got locked and I don’t even think there’s a way to send DMs here. At least no intuitive way I can find.

I like the reach customization system the best. Play and get credits. Play better, get some more credits. None of this armor set crap where you can’t use certain pieces of armor outside of the set.

Infinite’s customization need’s a complete overhaul from top to bottom. Simple as that. And I’d love to see them go back to the Reach system.
