Comparing grifball Match making games with old GB

So I was just playing Grifball and was more likely getting frustrated with most of the match and then what frustrate me even more the game kick me out for accidentally killing a team mate when the idiot team mate walk in front of me when I swing the hammer at a enemy player I found most of the game mode for halo 5 kinda bs. Where halo 4 and reach didn’t try halo 3 yet were pretty balanced with both weapons and didn’t have all the gadets in the match other than sprint and the low grav for players with the ball and didn’t automatically kick you out if you kill a team mate on accident if you are swinging at the enemy player when the team mate walk in front of you. Guess I’m gonna have to make a few compare gameplays of some of the stuff in match wise and grifball gonna be the first one of this issue.

The ‘teamkill’ registration is definitely better but ia still far from perfect.

I’ve now given up on the mode because, as you say:

If someone’s daft enough to run past your shoulder when you’re lining an enemy up they deserve it. Golden rule should always be to stay far enough away from a teammate thT you could never be double killed.

Had a back-breaker in my last game where I’d booted a teammate who kept swinging as soon as he spawned (whether there was a camper or not - often kiling me afted I’d cleared a camper). Final straw was when I’d been fractionally late to stop the enemy scoring (but got a double kill), had time to turn upfield and take a step before he betrayed me feom behind which I could only interpret as a ‘why didn’t you stop that guy’

But then… 4-0 down and cleary lost (as the guy’s replacement instaquit at 2-0 down) and I’m making a goalline stand and a teammate runs straight off spawn past my shoulder as I’m trying to clear the enemy blockers

I am only playing Halo 5 for XP at this point so getting booted at that point was a killer for me.

Also don’t get me started on temmates who don’t pass…

That’s actually awesome.

MCC got an update in the griffball department today… You may want to check it out.
