Saw the leaked Fortnite Chapter 3 battle pass. For 950 v bucks cost, you can earn 1200 back. Plus two spider-man skins.

Includes ronan swords and Spider-Man skins.

C’mon BJ - reading your message. It won’t be difficult to add more to battle pass for Halo Infinite. I don’t care that the battle pass will remain ‘forever’. I’d rather earn points for completing through the pass to buy additional items from the shop.

Who wants xp boosts as rewards now it’s very easy to get 1 level a day (two a day if use double xp). Most people should be able to play for an hour a day and reach level 100 in less than 3 months.

In effect, with Fortnite, if you complete the battle pass, you make money. With Halo, you don’t even get the full Heroes of Reach armour set if you complete the pass.

Heck. I can even use my master chief skin in Fortnite.

I love Halo Infinite and want it to succeed. But BJ, don’t be so predatory with pathetic rewards and unlocks.

I also have game pass ultimate and the monthly bonuses from subscribing to that are pathetic also.

Handing out some in game currency for progression of pass, or gifting 500 points if reach level 100 would be a gesture.

That system is true of most battle passes and something I wish they’d have done for Halo’s too. The only issue being the fact it doesn’t expire. With other games they still make money off of it as people don’t unlock all the credits. With Halo there would be no incentive to ever buy another battle pass.

That being said I think it would be cool if you got 50 credits for finishing the ultimate weekly challenge. Rewards regular play, then after 20 weeks you have enough for a battle pass. People who play that regularly and often are literally keeping the game living and healthy so would be a nice reward for them.

I think there should be some way of transitioning playtime into credits for the player. Every other game does it. Even through the free pass. Players in other games can just use credits over multiple seasons to get a paid pass in the future. Very cool idea for kids/people with little disposable.
