It’s so ironic that “Truth” is the ultimate showcase of the negative effects of sprint.
-Sprint causes elongated maps
-Truth is a stretched out version of midship
-Truth plays slower than midship
-Sprint causes H5 to play slower than H2.
Midship? More like bigship.
I too hate how stretched out it is. Now the time between contact in battles is lengthened whereas in Halo 2 the battle was damn-near constant. Truth is laughable in terms of action intensity when compared to Midship.

Ya, truth is bigship.
Plus now that the map has been stretched and weapon ranges increased to compensate for the stretched maps(because of sprint) the towers are ultra power positions. The map plays sooo slowly as teams hunker down in bases and towers and cross map each other. Afraid to traverse the vast, sprint caused expanses that litter the map.

Im going off the assumption that most people here have already read roughly 2.4 million sprint threads and are familiar with the ins and outs of the debate and can pick up what im speaking of without reading another 5 paragraphs.

Well I always hated midship, but I loved truth. So I guess truth isn’t as bad as you try yo make it sound.

Same here. On top of that, the smaller nidship was too easy to spawn trap on.
Maybe it’s a personal thing, but I don’t mind the bigger maps.

I like Truth much better than Midship. Even though it’s bigger and takes longer to get to places, it has something Midship never -Yoinking!- had: secure spawns.
I actually like that it’s bigger. Its to easy to get spawnkilled on some of halo 2s smaller maps. I always hated that.
I love how every single time you post on these forums it follows the same structure. Let me demonstrate: “See this? This is something 343 has done bad. Sprint sucks.”
All your posts are about hating sprint. The sprint hate train ended in these forums back in February bro. Just lose it, sprint is staying, and none of your pathetic arguments on a forum 343 doesn’t even read are going to make them take it out.

So lemme get this straight. According to complainers on this forum, Halo 5 is somehow too slow because of copying CoD with Sprint, and too fast because of copying CoD with Sprint?
The claim is to compare, and as I cannot do “scientific” studying of Halo5; I can H3 to H4.
I can see that H3 and H4 appear to have the same default BMS.
While I do agree with H5’s post beta BMS slight increase, I also agreed with MLG: H3’s as well.

And no, you do not hate Midship if you like Truth. It’s literally the same map and same concept (same player spawns, weapon spawns, jumps, everything) except scaled for Sprint, so it’s not easier or harder to navigate (which I can only assume is your argument against Midship, since you ‘hate’ it) In fact, your gun is less likely to be raised and ready to engage someone in the remake, if you find yourself running for power weapons at all…
