Well, technically thats supposed to be a forerunner combat skin, not a promethean 
Similar ideas i know haha but I dont think people should think 343 completely changed bungie’s promethean idea or something (due to the fact it is meant to be forerunner) haha

I think Bungie’s is a Forerunner Promethean, not a Promethean Defense AI.
Sentinels don’t look anything like Forerunners either.

The Concept piece from Bungie is of a Forerunner Combat Skin, and was created before the various casts of Forerunner has been designed or even thought up.

It is a Promethean Knight, but those are defense AI. These are not the same Prometheans as the Warrior-Servant class that the Didact was part of.

I understand it but Adam was saying it wasn’t a Promethean at all. It is technically classified as a Promethean and so does the concept art of Bungie’s whether or not it was before or after the classes were made.

Yes, therefore it is Promethean technology, the Promethean used it. It’s not an actual Promethean, but it is Promethean. It’s like Cortana, she’s not an actual human, but she’s a human construct, therefore she is classified as “human”. Or take the BR. It is human in the sense that humans made it, but it isn’t a human being.

No, it’s not. There were no Prometheans or Warrior-Servants or Builders or Lifeworkers when that concept was drawn up. It was a general Forerunner Combat skin, not one used by a specific caste of Forerunner.

yes thats right it was made by promethean technology, that makes it promethean origin but it dosnt make it a promethean, thats what i said, what the OP thought that the promethean knight was an actual promethean when its not.
Except that forerunner combat skin looks almost exactly like the Geth.

The bungie one looks like a geth trooper with a javelin sniper rifle.
