Will there be an actual company interface on the game itself or is the whole company feature just an external thing that can only be done on waypoint? If its on the game anyone know what kind of features there will be like promotions, demotions, roles, and what not?
Nothing been released about this so far. Right now it’s solely on Waypoint, but there is always a chance that aspects of Spartan Companies will make its way into the game. We just need to wait for either 343 to let us know, or for the game to come out and we can check when multiplayer goes live

Thanks broski! Just wanted to ask because I thought I read something on IGN about it being in game to but wasn’t able to find where I had read it.
It would be nice, but I don’t think it will be in the game itself. Just HaloWaypoint.
I don’t think there will be much if any company editing in game, but I imagine aspects of it will be in there, clan tags, default grouping and the sort. If not whats the point of making them at all, that’s just my opinion though.
There may be a similar thing to Halo 2 where you could cycle between inviting friends/clan (company) members and recent players? Just a thought
It would be nice if there was, also I hope the make a app for the phone so I don’t have to use the web browser.
Even if it was kinda like what the mcc does it will be ok to me.
You know have your group name viewable in the lobby but only your tag viewable in game.
I would enjoy some in-game option related to the Companies!
josh Homes replied on his twitter the other day that Spartan Company’s will appear in multiplayer to let other players know who you represent.
I believe it will show if you are in an Active company in-game, but I think it may run the way Battlefield 4 has platoons. You take care of the company business on the website.

I hope that if they do something in game they do more than Bungie did for Destiny. I like having a clan tag in Destiny but it bothered me that there wasn’t a list of active players. Its almost as if Bungie was forcing us to go to third party LFG sites to get any endgame content done since the raids, the nightfalls,the Prison of Elders, and the Trials of Osiris all didn’t have matchmaking.
