Comp Rank Reset

I played about 10 hours of Reach on launch day, mostly in the “Halo: Reach Team Hardcore” playlist. At the end of the day I was rank 10 in that playlist, and now today I have been reset to rank 1. There are also no stats tracked on my profile for anything.

It would appear that stat tracking is done through Windows telemetry. This is not an implementation that makes sense, unless -Yoink!- is pulling strings and demanding it. If 343 have a choice, this should be remedied and stats should be updated by the game’s exe, because people who have Windows telemetry disabled have done so for a reason. Do not recommend that I enable it; I will not do so. Please fix this.

Yeah it is very unfortunate, I played 30 hours already on my days off and discovered that most things weren’t even being tracked because of this.

Dude… Me three… I use a pi.hole network wide ad blocker and it also blocks microsofts telemetry stuff… I unblocked ‘vortex.data.microsoft.com’ and all my stats/achievements updated on screen in about 2 seconds… Just rolled in… Least i got a centralized fix… we’ll see how long the single domain unblock works.
