What’s the community’s thoughts on the two remixes of Empire and Truth: Eden and Regret.
I personally don’t like them - Eden seems to have too many levels and it’s very open. Regret seems to be just a bad map, I honestly respawn and instantly start being shot at, I just don’t like the geometry of the map.
Anyone else feel the same way?
Do you prefer Empire and Truth? or Eden and Regret? Or possibly a mixture?

Got to say, not a big fan of Eden, been running into that same spawn and being shot issue the last few matches. On the other hand I actually like Regret, I think it’s changed enough from Truth to feel different and engaging, but the BR start I think is probably the game mode to debut either of the maps to us.

I think I definitely prefer Truth to Regret. Surprisingly I think BR starts are pretty bad, I hope they put it back to AR starts.
I actually prefer the remixes over the normal maps. I love Regrets atmosphere.
Love Regret’s atmosphere but hate its gameplay. It’s too small, has too many lines of sight, and they’re too convoluted.
Eden is OK; I liked empire better but I think they’d be pretty even if you could actually see blue team on Eden.
I prefer both the remix to it’s originals, I will point out also that lighting & textures need be fixed on Eden & likewise with Truth.
I really like the older maps better…
Eden is starting to feel good, but Regret still seems like cancer.
Honestly they come across to me as a waste of time. I’d rather have a variety of unique maps than a small selection of samey ones.
i cant stand regret, but eden is ok. i prefer the first two thus far
I view them as temporary.
If having remixed maps means the game ships with over 15 maps then I’m all for it.
So far I like Regret better than Truth but I like Empire better than Eden.
Regret feels more fresh that Truth or any of Salots midship clones. I still feels like it could use a few more tweaks/particularly to top mid, but I still feel like it fits Halo 5 better than Truth. Truth isn’t bad, but I feel it is pointless to try to make “Midship” work in Halo 5.
Eden feels like Empire but bloated beyond belief. It doesn’t feel like their are any power positions so games end up being a constant ring around the map. However I do like the Sword/Sniper + Light Rifle of Eden which I feel could easily be transfered to Empire.
In terms of visuals I definitely prefer Regret and Empire. All the maps have issues with excessive amounts of bloom, but Truth and Eden both visibility issues, especially with Blue team.
Though the visual aspect will almost definitly get adjusted.
