"community too negative, not enough feedback"

Idk about you but it takes me seconds to read most posts here. It also takes seconds to shift through what is and what isn’t constructive feedback.

What’s all this nonsense about the community not giving feedback properly? If someone is upset and wants to rant. So what? It’s not like his negative reaction muddys the constructive feedback.

If I was paid to shift through this fourm it would be a piece of cake. People keep saying there is to much negative feedback to shift through. Like no. There isn’t.

The feedback is pretty simple and has been laid out for a while now. The negative reactions are not to blame for 343s silence. 343 is too blame.

In my point if view if it was my project I would want to hear all the negative feedback. IDC about positive feedback. It’s like a forge map. When someone compliments my map it does nothing for my map to grow. When they give negative feedback I have something to work on. Idk why 343 doesn’t just embrace the negativity

A person can be negative and constructive at the same time. A lot of feedback is not that though.

My point is. At this time. 3 months in people have already given the feedback. What are we suppose to do? Give it again? Make more bullet points? Make it more clear to read?

At this point there should’ve been a heavily detailed response to all the feedback already.

Remember that video on YouTube, 343i vs the world? During the Halo 5 multiplayer section, the pros that were brought aboard for supposed map feedback were completely disregarded. I feel like that exact situation and outcome is being echoed here again.

I find it funny how there was a pro team for Halo 5 working on it but once the game came out all the pros were “not listened to”. I remember the player spartan talking about this and how they wouldn’t listen to the pros feedback

Yeah but the problem lies when people who give ‘feedback’ are more or less venting. Then when nothing’s done about their issues because it wasn’t actual criticism, just pointless griping, they start calling 343 out for not listening.

For some of the complaint posts, it’s like listening to a child throw a tantrum versus listening to someone sitting on the other side of the shop list their valid complaints.

You have the freedom to express your displeasure about the game, but if you’re going about it in such a way it makes it hard for the dev team to take it serious enough to warrant fixing, then you can’t really say they didn’t listen. Venting is more or less screaming into the void about your problems and wondering if anyone else feels the same.

But if you have a genuine issue that can be resolved, then you should treat it like it is. An issue that can be resolved, it just takes time.

I’ve seen a few people post vent posts here, complaining about this or that. A week goes by and they’re posting again, wondering why their issues weren’t even acknowledged. (And this was all during Christmas break mind you, when a lot of the dev team was spending quality time with their family.)

The amount of people who were basically either implying or straight up saying that the development team doesn’t deserve any time to be human was disturbing. Because we need to remember that at the end of the day, that’s what the development team is; overworked and underpaid humans.

They’ll get to the issues, but they need time (and for whoever is in charge to stop making such awful choices that put them in these kinds of positions.).

The only feedback 343 wants is the kind that is dripping to the brim with groveling and covered in frosting with sprinkles of submissiveness.

Probably just stop and let nature take its course.

If the feedback has been given then that’s that. They might change it, they might not.

Absolutely give it again. It’s pretty tried and true with 343is track record that the squeaky wheel always gets the grease. Masses speak volumes, so rally support for your issues. Be repetitive and be constructive.
