Hey guys, a while back I set out to go futz around with Halo 5’s forge to create a plethora of prefabs and such, and my mission was to get as many solid reference images as possible of UNSC design mentalities as I could. So with that, I uploaded to an imgur account of mine, the entire album that features such.
UNSC Stuff for you all.
I figure that useful pre-343i Covenant and Forerunner design pieces would be very nice to have too. With every Halo game at my disposal, I have very little reason as to why I could not do that on one of my many, many late nights. I should also note that no installations from Halo 3 or ODST are present because they are either pre-UNSC or civilian. They have very little right to be in this gallery.
I do wish to say something, though.
Since 2010 Halo’s community has been polarized, and 2012 was a rough year for all of us. Hell I even left it entirely until Halo 5 came out- moved to purchase it only by its amazing forge and what I would discover to be thus far, the best multiplayer experience yet (that really just lacks iconic maps of its own.)
But there’s something to be said for a community that got through the huge shift Halo went through. You’re all pretty hardcore in your own way. Maybe I don’t always agree with you, maybe you’ve every right to tear me asunder when I say the beloved Battle Rifle is the worst gun ever (for the sandbox and variety’s sake), but that doesn’t change something.
I love you guys. Always have. The Halo Community is unlike any other I’ve seen before, and I’ve been actively watching it grow since about 2005. The stuff you guys do, write, it’s just insane. No other gaming community is like you.
I know I know, don’t bump, but I feel forgers need this kind of thing.
Amazing images. Not much of a Forger (regarding H5G) myself, but I’m sure this will definitely assist others.
By the way, you wouldn’t happen to have a top-down or side-on image of the D77 Pelican, perhaps?

Nah, but enough of those exist that it’s superflous for me to include them. Thank you, by the way, for commenting. I really want to get this out there for everyone’s use.

Been looking for profile images of the D77 and G79H (the latter is not as important because it uses the same airframe as the D79) for a while now, can’t find any images of such from the perspectives I require.
Why? Because of this.

Yep. D77 is in all Bungie-era games, the D79 is 343i’s model. If you can conceivably get an image that is fairly easy to be 'shopped to remove the background (a background that doesn’t match that of the airframe, for example), that would be most welcome.

'Tis all right. Finally got around to doing it myself.
D77 Pelican, Reach model || Updated scale chart||All I require now is a top-down image of the G79H from Halo 4… and side-on/top-down views of the Halo Wars D82 Darter (as well as specifications regarding the width of the craft) and D81 Condor. No idea how I’m going to get the required images of the Condor though.
