I have %100 hype for H4. It will be great and even if there are cons, the pro will always outweigh it.

Or the exact opposite could occur.

Ah yes finally. Been waiting for episode 2 for a while now.

Which is highly unlikely. I liked what they have done so far. I even liked Reach, but there are times when I rage.

TBH being objective i’d give Reach an 8/10. I didn’t like it but it was a good game overall. However, when weighing it against it’s successors is when you’ll find a huge disparity in quality.

I’ve been keeping with all their H4 discussions thank you for posting this.

Sure maybe the campaign was lackluster, but you can’t really compare the two because Reach was not meant to be the successor to Halo 3. They have their own vibe.

Good Post, thanks.

Bungie said themselves Reach was their swan song for the Halo series. That “swan song” was the worst in the series.

Thanks man! I appreciate you linking this!

No problem guys! Anyone else happy to hear that the medals are being changed up a bit? To be honest, they weren’t TOO bad, but just really hard to discern from via peripheral vision.

That is bias. People have their own opinion.

True True. But if it wasn’t it’s successor then why is 343 incorporating many of the same ideas/concepts that Reach had? Reach and Halo 4 emit a very similar vibe if you ask me.

Finally, episode 2 decides to show its face.

The similarities I see are sprint and loadouts. H4 feels like Reach, but looks like Halo 3.

Halo 4 is like a hybrid in terms of how it feels. You have your increased movement speed, jump height and strafe. You have AAs, assassinations and sprint return from reach. The loadouts, personalizations, ordnance and packages take on its own entity, being unique to halo 4.

Edit: And looks like Reach graphics, with halo3 lighting.
