Community Play Date 7/30 *A new way to Campaign*

So, I am holding a community play date tomorrow night for Halo: Reach campaign.
This though, is going to be a unique and different way to play.
Campaign will be played in different ways for each mission. For example, one mission might have a rule that you can only melee to kill an enemy. Another might have no HUD (but would be on Easy or Normal.)
Because campaign can only support 4 players, I am asking if two other players could also host this.
There is no prize, just for fun.

Mission specifics:
Winter Contingency-No HUD
ONI: Sword Base-Famine and Tough Luck skulls, Covenant Weapons only
Nightfall-Heroic/Melee only
Tip of the Spear-Heroic, can only kill Grunts (until Spire moment)
Long Night of Solace-No HUD
Exodus-Black Eye skull
New Alexandria-Fog, No armor abilities
The Package-Heroic, Melee only
The Pillar of Autumn-All skulls except for Iron and Blind

BTW The time will be tonight starting at 8 pm central time (when it’s 8pm in Texas.)
I might change up the rules for some of the missions (such as killing Elites only, or plasma pistols only.)

Sounds like an interesting idea, but I am not sure I am able to attend. Keep us all updated on what happens though.

Nice, if this is going to be July 30 then I’m all for it! I’m pretty sure I’ll be able to make that. FYI you might want to change the date in the OP it says June 30, but right on, I’ve haven’t played very much co-op campaign.

Hey there, could really use a time on this, so I can plan my day. I can probably do 8-10 CST if that’s good for you, then if there are others who want to keep going than I could hand host over. Just let me know Toonami, here or on XBL. I will be on and off all day.

Ok gentlemen, since there has been no update as of yet from Toonami, I thought I would go ahead and set something up for 8-10pm CST. Here is a Time Zone Converter just in case.

We will go down the list just as the OP states. I also want to make all aware that I think it would be nice to go through these missions straight up. By this I am meaning that we will not use the “short cuts” or glitches that I am sure most of us are aware of. I don’t know about you, but I am doing this for a completely different way to play the missions, not just to keep rehashing the same run throughs.

I will go down the list of GT’s posted and will take the first to join. I will start sending out invites probably about five minutes ahead of time. I will also be ending a few minutes before 10pm, and I hope there is someone willing to pick up the party host to continue.

Last but not least, let’s all just have some fun and please be respectful of each other. :slight_smile:
