Community Movie Night! Saturday Feb. 18

I will be hosting a Community Movie night over Netflix this Saturday at 8pm PT.
Halo: Legends was on Netflix but it has sense been taken down. Now I figured movies like The Thing, Starship Troopers, or the Alien series would be acceptable since they have had a huge influence on Halo. None of these films are on Netflix.
So we’re gonna have to watch a movie that we can all vote and agree on.
Here are my suggestions:
Troll 2
Krull
Birdemic
Cool World
Ghosts of Mars
Kazam

Only a total of 8 people can join the party, including me. Since Netflix took off the watch with party feature, we’ll all have to start the movie at the same time.
If this turns out successful, I’ll host one every week.

Also if anybody can tell me how to access the full Mona Lisa on Waypoint, we can watch that instead.

All those movies sound terrible

Why would they take off watch with party?

Isn’t Kazam with Shaq? haha that movie was lolz

> All those movies sound terrible

We did something on my other site like this but when the Netflix Party was around and even so, it’s better with 4 people rather than 4. Too many instances of people wanting to pause for bathroom break or just too noisy.

Granted, we PURPOSELY picked the worst and most laughable B-Movies on the list as well as our nostalgic classics. I’ll see if I can dig up our original list. Case in point, I NEVER under ANY circumstances would have watched Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus on my own. I regret not a moment of watching with my buddies. It was utter hilarity.

Like I said though, the more people for something like this that actually requires some coordination, the more chaotic and unsuccessful it will be.

Speaking from experience b/c we tried to do 2 Netflix Parties at a time. The big issue is getting everyone to sync the movie as connections determine how fast it will load and if it will lag.

Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus gets my vote.

I would like to throw MIB out there as a choice if that’s okay.
