Over the past titles, we’ve usually had three things to look forward to.
- Campaign
- Multiplayer
- *Wild Card
*Firefight or Spartan Ops
We used to have firefight which was alright, but always seemed a little lackluster to me. Then it was improved with matchmaking which gave it even more playability. Now we have Spartan Ops, some people like it, some don’t. I would say the main issue is a lack of replayability and reused portions.
Now let’s look at our rival CoD… It has Spec Ops and Zombies, depending on the developer. These game modes really captivated it’s audience and it wasn’t just some mode that players fell back on when they got tired with the rest of the game, they were excited for it. Hell, if Black Ops didn’t have zombies, I’m sure half the people wouldn’t buy it.
Now, I’m not saying to take either of these ideas, in fact I’d like the opposite. I want a game mode that truly draws me in, has great replayability that I can enjoy with my friends, and truly have an impact on how it plays, but I want something HALO. If we work together and came up with some ideas, maybe we could help inspire 343 to make us something new and wonderful. Let’s do something positive guys! Leave your thoughts and ideas below.
its hard to make something HALO, unless you want to do something like halo 2 and allow us to be in the shoes of the covenant side going against the marines.
They touched up on that in reach, but you could only play it in customs. (one team was elites during firefight)

yeah it was invasion, but they should add a Sangheili Ops after the 10 weeks, and have Elites go against ODST’s or something… make it interesting 
No I’m talking about Firefight versus lol Plus Invasion was technically a playlist in Multiplayer MM. We need a solid stand alone game mode.
I mean CoD made zombies their own, even though it’s a subject that has nothing to do with their game…
omg I would kill for something along the lines of how galactic conquest played in Battlefront. You could fight to protect strategic systems against flood lol.
What about a tournament type multiplayer like in the new black ops 2.

but then 343 would have to design more flood forms, i mean, you cant go against NPC spartan floods all the time can you?
I’m not really talking about putting this mode in Halo 4, it’d be for future installments. A game mode won’t truly be successful if it feels like it’s just thrown together… cough spartan ops cough
