Community Friends List

So I made this thread a few days ago, but due to the overflow of people complaining about another particular topic, it got moved off the first couple pages within minutes. Now that the forums have quieted down a bit since then I figured I’d give it another shot.

I remember before Reach came out several members on the forum set up community friends lists in order for everyone to have someone to play with. Since I haven’t seen any threads about anything like that recently, I decided to just make one myself.

Basically I made a Gamertag: Halo4Games
It’s purpose is connect everyone who is playing Halo 4 so that you always have people to play with.

How?

  1. Add Halo4Games to your friends list on Xbox Live.

  2. Open up the Halo4Games profile on your friends list and click “View Friends” in the Personal Profile tab.

  3. View the community friends list to see who is playing Halo 4.

  4. Invite players to games, request to join games, start parties, meet new friends to add to your own friends list, etc…

  5. Enjoy playing Halo 4

The purpose of this is simply to connect all the members of the Waypoint community in one place. It’s never fun to have no one to play with, and this is a good way to find other people playing Halo 4 from our own community rather then just matchmaking with randoms or waiting for your friends to come online to play. This supports people who want to create parties for matchmaking, custom games, spartan ops, campaign, forging… really anything that is made better with multiple players xD.

If there are already other friends lists like this setup I apologize. But then again it’s always beneficial to have more then one of these anyway…
This idea worked really well when Reach launched and it’d be cool to have it in motion again.
