Whats up guys. As most posters know by now I’m a pretty active member from the MLG community, and I pretty much work my -Yoink- off to prove to people that the MLG community isn’t what most people think it is, and encourage people to get involved with competitive Halo. I’m starting a video series called “Community Commentary” and what this is, is basically anyone who wants to improve on any aspect of their Halo game can put up some gameplay in their fileshare, send me a message telling them they want to be featured, and I’ll do a commentary similar to the one I’ve posted below just trying to point out some things you can do to improve your game. I’m by no means a professional player, but I am pretty experienced, and have been playing Halo and other various games competitively in major tournaments for years now, and I just want to help give back to the community. Anyone and any gameplay is welcome, competitive or not. I don’t care if you’re trying to become the next MLG pro, or just trying to get better at Invasion, the whole idea of this is to just improve your Halo game.
I wanted to post this as its own “Official Thread” because I hope to do these at least weekly, and rather then post a new thread every time I make a video, I figured I can just update this thread with new ones. I’ll be doing this up until Halo 4’s release, so hopefully I can help some of you guys out :]
> > pretty basic setup. It looked like he was playing FFA in ZBS!

> Hey, its all about improving. Gotta start somewhere. :]
True! Im no pro but this guy plays like he wants to be a Lead slayer. I a mainly play support but i think if you play both you can have the opportunity rise and have the advantage of being the lead slayer! I call it your Fire Zone or as my friend calls it blood thirst mode lol!
> I would post one, but I wouldn’t want to give you that much to talk about.
Well if you actually have one you want to commentate please don’t hesitate. :] Trust me even if you think the gameplay is really horrible, its usually just one or two bad habits that you can correct and change for the better. As long as you can take something away thats all that matters.

I’ll play one while my bro is out later. I’ll post it before six.

Sounds genius. You could use them for signatures and stuff

Well there is really no legitimate ranking system in Reach other then Arena which I don’t play often, but I am an experienced competitive Halo player, and I’ve competed at many Local and MLG LAN events. The last event I competed in for Halo was Dallas 2011 for the Reach Exhibition, but after that I took a break from Halo because I didn’t enjoy reach as much. But with the new ZB settings I’ve picked the game back up and am probably planning on going to another MLG event this year, but I figured with the upcoming release for Halo 4, Instead of trying to get a full team together and try to place well in reach and such I can use this time to help out anyone who is interested in competitive Halo, or simply wants to get better. Just a way to give back and get more involved with the community after taking a few month’s break.
As far as trusting my word, as I said in the first video, I’m by no means a pro player. The best placing I’ve ever gotten at an MLG event was top 32, which is pretty solid. Nobody says you have to take my word on anything, im just looking to offer advice to anyone who is looking for it. I obviously wouldn’t give as much of an insight as a professional player would, but I can point out basic mistakes and bad habits players tend to make.

> So do we just submit a video to you here?
You can upload any video to your Fileshare and either:
I appreciate the commentary. I stare at the guys Armor Locking because I wasn’t sure if my teammates would kill them in time.(It may have just been paranoia) As you saw, I love punching. Honestly my first instinct is to punch, I’ll work on that.
