So, based on my experience, you -Yoink!- when you agree, shot to indicate were to go and hit to indicate you about your bad performance. Am I right? Do you know any other form in which most of the players communicate without the mic? I would like to know what you think about it 
As a micless person (for the moment), I communicate in the same fashion as you. However, rather than -Yoink!- when I agree with something, I simply nod my head “Yes.”
This is one of the reasons I love the Halo Community. We know how to communicate with each other when we don’t have microphones lol
