i think its just anything that gives you a medal, but i might be wrong

You get one point when you earn any of the following medals:
- Assassination
- Avenger
- Bulltrue
- Close Call
- EMP Blast
- Extermination
- First Strike
- Headcase
- Hijack
- Kill from the Grave!
- Killjoy
- Pull
- Protector
- Rejection
- Reload This!
- Revenge
- Showstopper
- Skyjacked
- Yoink

This, but any medal that doesn’t have it’s own specific commendation, will go towards Jack of all trades.
I know I Onyx’d it after I assassinated somebody. Just keep playing like you normally do and you’ll rank it up.
