Hello everyone.
I´ve had problems with some Commendations, one of them is to eliminate Grunts mech, also with breakout (against all gods and unstoppable). With this I hope you can help me, since I have played a lot and I cannot complete these “challenges” …
My advice:
A) Play in a team with friends or Company’mates. Ask them to not shoot it once it gets to critical.
B) Use a Sentinel Beam or Binary Rifle to break its shields, then pull a Battle Rifle and pop the grunt in the head. Don’t need to destroy the mech, just the grunt inside it.
C) Pull a Wraith Ultra, Temple Wraith, ONI Scorpion, or Hannibal Scorpion and equip Wheelman. Try and keep the pressure on it and aim for it once its running low. Try and put yourself between team mates and the boss.
A and B are your best bets really.
You can easily kill a grunt mech if you break the shield (with any plasma weapon ) and kill the grunt that is inside with any semiautomatic weapon (magnum, br, dmr, etc). For breakout medal you need to play a lot, to get immortal medal you can hide all the game and doesnt matter if you lose, you will get the medal.

When I “kill” the grunt mech I get the medal of that kill… Idk why I can’t get it 
but thank you for advice.

Yep the one of grunt is hard. You can kill 3 in differents matches and they maybe give u one. Glitch
If you see the red X pop up on your cross hairs when you kill the grunt mech, that’s when you know you got it. Good luck!
If you are using the method to break the grunts shield, use the Halo 2 battle rifle to get the head shot. You should be req level 5 by the time any grunt mech appears.

You have to get the kill shot. If you do enough damage, you get the medal, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you got the killing blow. I had the best luck using a scorpion and when the health started getting low, I would try to time my shots to get the killing blow. Sometimes it worked, other times it didn’t. Luckily that commendation doesn’t require too many to complete
