Hey fellow Spartans,
Anyone here struggling with just one commendation that is preventing them from getting the emblem they want and deserve. I’ve played Halo 5 Guardians since its release and 1 commendation prevents me from having the Great Wheel . . . Destroy Mongooses. Now despite what some think this is a very hard commendation to earn. The fact that spartans would die before the mongoose makes this frustrating, plus the fact that no one uses the mongoose or gungoose anymore. Not only that but i have troubles getting the breakout commendations since now every time i attempt to connect to a server 5 minutes would pass and I get nothing, and it is not my internet connection because i have no problems joining other servers. 343 I know you are busy with Halo 6, Halo Wars 2, the weapons tuning update I know you won’t care much for this feeble complain. However, if you do read this it’s just to inform you that what you thought might have been easy when you first made Halo5 is still a challenge for players to this day. I would love to have the emblem for Hannibal Weapon Systems. So I looked up the requirement and it turns out I need some commendation called “Wonderful Toys” that involves picking up power weapons from weapon pads in slayer modes. So I gave up on getting it, because I don’t like to play slayer in Halo 5
Prop Hunt can prove to be an unlikely friend in finishing that dreaded commendation. As the props use invisible Mongooses (or is it Mongeese?) as their base, destroying them - and not prematurely killing the driver - will count towards the commendation.

Man that’s too bad. I think I finished this one a long time ago. I told myself I would go for those power weapons every time I could. I used to shy away from the Sniper, Rockets, and whatever. Too much pressure to get the kills, but once I got past that it was no big deal.
Dude, if you ever want to play I will help you get those. I know you are not big on Arena, but maybe you just need a someone to help you out. I am definitely not the best, and I don’t care about how well you do or don’t do. I enjoy helping players out.
To the OP: Magnum Opus would be the one I am hoping for. I have two Breakout commendations to finish. Unstoppable and Against All Odds the two most elusive for me.
Mongoose destroyer was one of the last commendations I got (not counting breakout commendation since break out is total toilet and I refuse to get them). It is best to only try for them in a tank in warzone or with a laser in warzone/BTB.

I appreciate the generous offer. I might actually take you up on that at some point. But it would be a long road because my Wonderful Toys commendation is currently at 1 out of 3 on level 1 out of 5…
I got most mongooses with a wraith, finished off the commendation with a phaeton all in WZ. I use the emblem, because it was so hard to get. Harder than Achilles for me.
