Are 343i going to increase the levels of these? because the game has been out for less then a month and people are completing commendations already.
Halo Reach had a very good commendation system, they took ages to finish.

Would be nice if you could “prestige” them as it were. Doesn’t hugely matter to me, there’s plenty enough to grind for with req points, xp and arena ranks.

Exactly. Some are very easy, some take a while. This is balanced enough to keep people playing. These don’t all need to take one year or more. Give the die-hards some to spend a long time on while still allowing more casual players to complete some and get rewarded.

Legendary boss takedowns, if you don’t play a ton of warzone. Also, some of the power weapons, again if you don’t play a lot of warzone, or if you aren’t super proficient with them. Vehicle ones, since they are pretty easy to take out in warzone…there are others, but these ones jumped out to me.

The balance is enough to keep players for a little while. However Halo really struggles to maintain a healthy online population because for the casual gamers it gives them nothing to unlock or be rewarded. I fookang luv Halo 5 and I will play till the next Halo but I am a big fan, but getting rewarded constantly is a big draw for games and the occasional blowing up of a mongoose and 1 legendary take down here and there won’t appeal enough for casual gamers. My opinion anyway

if you don’t play a lot of warzone some are gonna take forever, like the ones for killing enemies. I don’t like warzone but I play it just too boost commendations and I already completed most of the weapons and vehicles. legendary boss takedown is easy since there are a lot per game, the wardens is harder. I don’t know how much you need for the higher levels but I think im on level 2 and I need 3 so I guess lvl 5 will be like 15.

Survive all rounds of break out.
Grunts.
Mantis Kills, assists.
Boltshot (that’s some dedication!!)
Watchers.
Heck a ton of vehicle ones (at least until BTB).
I would like to see more depth added to them.
I have over half the UNSC weapons done I believe.
Adding another 5 levels that go to 5000 kills would be nice.

Nades and ground pounds? Easy, esp in 2nd objective in Assault.
SPlinters and Plamsa are pretty much on every arena map (minus swat) and also spawn often AND need way less kills than frags. I think 20 for the top tier, easy.
Grunts though, and watchers, yuck.

gotta adapt and use those overhangs
I just feel they need one or two more levels for each then they will take awhile or any weapon use finishing with 500 or 1000. For the most part they are too easy to finish off. A couple will take longer, but I don’t feel like anybody should have knocked out any of them at this point with the game being a few weeks old.
These are too easy, Should be raised or something.
I don’t like commendations so im glad. see they want you to EARN REQS so they put a small amount rewarded for commendations but dont want the entire game dedicated to it or people will just play things like swat to boost headshots, BR, pistol etc. and also forces people to play the same gametypes. so by making it easy people go towards what they like to play rather than what they need to play after commendations. so everyone can get req packs and than go into gametypes they like. also if they made it too difficult some things wouldnt be unlockable. like mongoose kills are rare as -Yoink-. because hardly anyone will get into a mongoose because its easy to get killed in i only beat level1/5 fo that. i couldnt imagine 10 levels of that -Yoink-.

at the current rate, warthog, mongoose, warden kills would take forever. because people get kill steal from them and even when you do 99.9% of the damage and even shoot him to his death, it rewards it to the little -Yoink- that did .1% damage from far away with a pistol and just a millisecond after you hit so he got the kill. thats -Yoink-. its why most people don’t go for bosses til they are about half health or less. why bother putting 4 rockets and 10 tank rounds into him if some little -Yoink- is gonna just take him out with a plasma pistol. i just finally beat level 2 of that -Yoink-. also there are a few like phaeton which are hard to call in because when you finally can, the game is almost over and also a few gametypes, weapons n enemies are problematic.
