I’m so over these commendations, I like having 100% completion on the games I play and I’m so close but why did 343 make such brutal commendation goals, the “difficult” ones just promote toxic gameplay and stress ridden nights. All I need for magnum opus is strongholds mastery but after I get through the pretty difficult task of even finding a strongholds match, everyone on these servers acts like they’re some hcs pro and letting me get three caps in a row would bring personal shame to them and they hunt me down ruthlessly, if there was a commendation for getting 2 captures and then getting bombarded and dismembered one second before the third capture I would have thousands. I’m just so frustrated with trying to finish these and I’m annoyed they’re even part of the game.

I’m in a similar boat with the Magnum Opus grind BUT honestly if it’s stressing you out don’t do it. It’s 100% optional.
I like getting all the completionist stuff done too but eh sometimes you got to let it go. Can’t be stressing yourself out too much over something so small

How tho strongholds was the second easiest one I got that back in 2016

A lot of it now is just finding a Strongholds game, some days I get 2 tops, then with that a lot of people still playing are major sweats and my chances of getting three captures without dying are nil.

Yeah, it’s not really that hard to do, just finding the match is the hard part hahaha. I got majority of mine done back then too but I stopped playing arena.
just go for weapon, vehicle target master and miscellaneous warzone and kill commendations. that keeps me playing, while not throwing my controller against a wall (well that’s a bit of an exaggeration, I’m actually pretty chill 99% of the time).
man you should had play super fiesta hardcore, strongholds was about 25% of matches. It can appears in super fiesta because they put some objetives there but is not too common as it was in harcore sf.

I know I didn’t realize what a gold mine for Strongholds it was until the last few days it was up, and by then I was having trouble matching anyone.

That’s what I used to do, but now literally the only comms I have left are Strongholds mastery, and kill enemy Spartans with a Phaeton, both of which are staring at me laughing with a middle finger up.
Just have to keep it going. Best way to play any game is with a team of friends where you can just enjoy the game with each other’s company. The more fun you’re having the easier it’ll be to get those captures Spartan

there’s a map on big team super fiesta with a phaeton, that helps a bit after you get past all the Spnkr primes and anti-air wraiths. 343 should make vehicle fiesta a featured game mode
