I’m not sure if they’ve confirmed them, but I’m hoping they bring them back. You’d think they would mention them somewhere by now, though.

I’m sure they’ll return, but the payout for hitting them should actually be worth it, with realistic goals too. I shouldn’t have to farm the Living Dead playlist to get the amount of pistol kills I need.

Right. I’ve been playing a ton of Multi-team recently just to get my Trigger Man to silver. Although I am proud that out of my 95k kills, only 2k are automatic weapons.
And you would think maxing out a commendation would be rewarded heavily, right?

Exactly, instead we get nothing. In Reach the commendations award no real goal. I could get the same credits that I get for achieving a new level of commendation that I get for playing a new game. Hitting a commendation shouldn’t force you to play a certain gametype for unrealistic goals. It’s why I’m still only at 80% commendation, I can’t stand to farm another gametype any longer.
I would like to see commendations brought back in Halo 4 awarding huge XP payouts, unlocking armor and/or skins.
